Bethke installed baseboard hot water heat in one room a few years ago. Did a decent job with the plumbing, but installer was sloppy. Left debris on the ground after drilling through a concrete wall. Made a mess of the baseboards. The heat stopped working at the start of the third winter. The owner said he would send someone out to look at it for $ 100. That’s just to look at it. I figured out on my own that it was a bad zone valve actuator. When I told him that he said he would fix it for $ 286. Fixed it myself with a $ 50 part. Before this heating problem arose, I had 6 contractors bid a Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pump. Bethke’s quote was the most expensive by far, twice the cost of the lowest bid for the same work.

The customer service from Theresa and the technician Mike who came to my home were both friendly and knowledgeable. All of my questions and concerns were answered. I am very happy with the dryer vent cleaning service that I requested from Bethke. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

Today after and endless stretch of below zero temperatures, our furnace decided to take a break. I called another large Heating and air company at noon and they weren’t sure they could get anyone out on the same day, and if they could I would have to pay overtime rate at $ 180. I called Bethke and Jeff arrived in an 1 ½. Within 5 minutes he identified that it was a frozen air intake pipe and it would take a few days for it to naturally de thaw. He changed the way the furnace drew air and within minutes we had heat. Jeff said they would return next week after the pipe de thawed and return the intake to outside air. One $ 85 service charge for both trips. Bethke H&A was the hero of the day!

Great response setting up boiler repair. Service was excellent. And after trying to set up an appt with a competitor and getting terrible response, was very pleased with Bethke’s professionalism.
