Great service, friendly and professional staff. I have been going to American Dry Cleaners for 3 years now and have never had a problem of any kind. The staff is very helpful and Gloria who does the alterations can fix anything! They also have a parking lot.

They are the best!!! I have had several dresses and pants tailored by Gloria and she is fantastic. She always does the best job and is always available to make any changes. She has transformed dresses for me and has done an absolute beautiful job. I always bring my tailoring to her. Jimmy is always there to greet you and make you feel welcomed. The entire staff is wonderful and so helpful. This is my go to place for tailoring and dry cleaning. I highly recommend it!!!

They are wonderful! I just got home from picking up from them and had to right a review right away. I called with a dress emergency this afternoon– needed my dress hemmed today for a wedding that I’m in tomorrow (AND it’s Memorial Day weekend of all weekends). They were so nice! Told me no problem and to come right down. Other cleaners I had called said they couldn’t help. Two hours later and my dress was perfect thanks to Gloria! Owner was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be back! Bonus– they have a parking lot which is so convenient as parking on Bloomfield Ave. can be tricky.

I was visiting from California and needed to get a dress pressed for a wedding. I had called a few places and they told me that they couldn’t do it with such short notice. When I called American Dry Cleaners, they were very nice and said to come down. They pressed my dress right on the spot and I had a very nice conversation with the owner. I would definitely go to this place again and would recommend it to anyone who either lives in the area or is visiting and in need of help fast like I was! Thanks American Dry Cleaners!

You might think going to the dry cleaners is just another mundane task in your week but that is not the case at American Cleaners. Jimmy & his staff are truly great! They treat their customers like good friends/​family — greeting everyone by name, understanding individual dry cleaning & tailoring preferences and overall providing top notch quality service. I live a town away with dry cleaning/​tailoring services within walking distance yet I choose to drive to American because I know it’s worth the trip!

I’ve visited this place for the first time and it was just as the previous reviews described. The owner is such a friendly and genuine man to everyone who walks through his door. Customer service here is truly something to be modeled. A few of the buttons came back chipped on my husband’s business shirts so, one less star for that. But, considering service and price, I’d definitely come back.

I have been going to American Dry Cleaners for 10 years even before I lived in Verona. The owner Jimmy knows the customers on a first name basis and his weekly pick up and delivery service has never disappointed. After you become a happy customer send Jimmy a holiday card and you will make the wall of fame in his business. His prices are good and he gives back to those in need in the community!!!

Every time I walk into American Dry Cleaners, Jimmy greets me as if I’m his best friend. I’ve never had an issue with any of my clothes that have been dropped off here and with their reasonable prices, why wouldn’t I come back over and over again.
If I ever need anything cleaned, Jimmy is my guy, and American Dry Cleaners is my place.

Jimmy is great. There are a lot of dry cleaners in the area but he is my favorite. Very personable/​kind and makes sure you are happy with the service being provided. I’ve had several items dry cleaned and repaired here since moving to this area and each time I’ve been more than impressed. Clothes are tailored at very reasonable prices.

This is the best cleaners in the world. jimmy the owner knows every customer by name. Every time i go there i stay for at least 30 minutes. Jimmy is awesome. Service is fast and perfect
