Spaghetti Factory

My wife and I had dinner at the Spaghetti Factory last night for the first time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly by the owners as if we were old family friends. Between the aroma and the atmosphere we felt as if we were in Italy. My wife had the linguini with red clam sauce and I had the veal parmigiana with a side of fettuccini alfredo. The food was absolutely delicious! For anyone that has not been, I would highly recommend the Spaghetti Factory.

My boyfriend and I went to the Spaghetti Factory for the first time today. It was recommended by a friend and we love pasta. This place was better than we expected. It was AMAZING!!! My boyfriend had angel hair and meatballs and I had the baked lasagna. We were seated by the owner and he pulled out my chair for me. I was already impressed. Our waitress Lindsey was a sweetheart and very good! No need to ask for a refill on the drinks she was on top of it. We still can’t get over how amazing the food was. The sauce was perfect! The food also had a taste of home and love. We highly recommend the spaghetti factory to anyone! :) words of advice from the owner when I complimented waitress. «If you have nice thoughts, share them. If you have bad thoughts shut your mouth :) »

I’ve been there a few times and I’ve been thrilled each time. Wait staff is friendly and fast. The garlic bread is super. It’s a great after church restaurant.

Had a great experience here. The food was very well prepared and very tasty. The fettuccine alfredo and chicken parm got thumbs up at our table. The service was great and the deserts were to die for. Overall had a great time. Would give it 5 stars but we were sitting near a door they keep all the alcohol in and they kept going in which got annoying.

From the moment you walk in, you feel very welcome. This is a nice place slightly off the main part of Sylvan Beach. The servers were very attentive. They even had a variety of high chairs to choose from so they are kid friendly. However they have a few dining areas so the family section was away from people that might like more privacy. The food was very good. Our daughter loved the kids ravioli. My husband said the haddock was fresh and well prepare. I enjoyed the food. The price of a salad with a meal seems very high though (extra $ 5) so I shared one with my husband. Other than that, it’s definitely a place I would recommend.

They settle 4 gnocchi of course, I kno they’re in remorse.
I gobble bread of garlic, & sip wine that proves lethargic,
The antipast arrives, chocked w meat to no surprise.
And tho it tastes just marv, im still pining for that parm!
My thoughts r recommending, as I slurp Italian wedding
So I pour glass #3, as I wait in reverie.
FIN’LLY the crown jewel shows, as wait on my tiptoes,
Extra spaghetti on the side, I very nearly cried.
No breading proves the excellence!
I’m not prepared for the utter decadence!
I finish leftover packing, excited for midnight snacking,
I wave my final goodbye, oh I can’t wait until next July.

Huge portions, huge flavor, best in show for the area by far. GO.

We love this place. Where else can you go and the owner greets you at the door with a handshake and a smile? Food is wonderful and so is the service !!! The only downfall is we wished we lived closer so we could get there more often! Great food, atmosphere, and wonderful people!

Stuffed pepper soup was great! I ordered the stuffed egg plant it was awesome!

Had very nice lunch today with my partner. He had the stuff eggplant and stuff pepper soup the eggplant look good I had tortellini and stuff pepper soup also both were good. The waitress was very nice.

I can not speak enough in regards to the amazing quality of the food, atmosphere, employees and owners of this establishment. I personally guarantee your satisfaction when visiting this incredible restaurant!

This was my first time here and I was wanting some spaghetti, angel hair pasta is what I got sprinkled with parsley which is really outdated. If I go back, I will not order any type of pasta.

We are always very pleased with everything about Spaghetti Factory. From the food (I love the lemon chicken!), the happy waitresses, the owner being so personable, and just the general ambience.
From one business owner to another, your attention to detail is much appreciated! We’ll be coming back a few more times before winter!

I came here on Sat. June 1, 2013 for dinner with my family.
They don’t give you soup or a salad with your meal. Everything is à la carte here.
I ordered the Veal Marsala which looked good and came on bed of pasta. The Veal was dry and the pasta was soaking in butter and oil. The food looked better than it tasted.
The waitress was very slow. She never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink and she kept walking by and seeing my empty glass. She also never brought me any bread.
I will not be going back here again. I would suggest going anywhere but here.

Excellent food and great customer service… ask for the owner «Quacky», great guy n very personable. Must try eggplant bruschetta n chx Vincenzo. A must visit when in sylvan beach.

After over a decade of eating at the beach many times during the summer season, we finally went to The Spaghetti Factory. What a find! I had always been put off a bit by the name (we do great pasta at home), but there is more than pasta here. First of all, the service was attentive — everything arrived quickly, and at the proper temp. I had lemon chicken a la carte, and my husband had mushroom stew (soup?) over penne as a complete meal with salad etc. He raved, and I had to taste… yumm! The cuisine is what I call U-​Talian — unique to the Utica Italo-​American community. They have «greens» (not found downstate where I’m from), and lots of steak — fish — veal offerings. I was impressed by the menu, the service, and the prices. So why didn’t I give it 5 stars? Well, the noise level was a bit high, and the ambience a bit kitchy with strands of lighted grape fronds, and the Andrea Boccelli music wore thin after an hour. The food is really good, but be warned — the portions are (as Billy Fucillo says) Ha — Yuge!!! We will certainly go back — hey we are eating our left overs tonight, and I don’t have to cook! :)
BTW — with a glass of house wine, and 2 mixed drinks, and tip, our bill came to about $ 44.

Updating my review for 2012 — we had a great meal at Spaghetti Factory tonight. I had the white veal scallopini, hubby had the special called Chicken Giardino.
The white veal scallopini was really tasty — nice bed of linguini, mushrooms, peppers, and of course, veal and garlic — lots of garlic! Plenty for dinner plus a box to take home. Not taking my own advice from last time, I had the complete dinner not the ala carte. It’s tough to resist the complete meal as a salad alone is $ 3.99 and the complete meal with minestrone is only 50 cents more.
The chicken special was smaller but good — nice tender chicken smothered with fresh tomatoes, garlic, onions and fresh basil.
We don’t come here very often yet the owner always greets us like we are family and even chased us down on our way out to touch our shoulders and wish us a good evening.

If you’re in the mood for pasta or traditional italian dishes, The Spaghetti Factory would be a good choice.
This is a good place to bring the family. There’s plenty on the menu, so there should be something for everyone. The portions are humongous, so unless you are really hungry, you should have plenty to bring home with you.
The service is always friendly and they always make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door.
