For the price it’s good. Freshly made pizza. It’s $ 2.73 a slice what do you expect. You can’t go wrong.

Good customer service, delicious food, good environment! Almost everything you look for in one small convenient store! From check cashing, to liquor, to general store to deli! All in 1! Recommending the chicken Alfredo pasta and the giant 28″ chicken Alfredo pizza. Yummy you would feed all your family with that! Great customers hours and the best part is that they deliver Monday through Friday! Really recommend this place!

This is a dive pizza place in Vernon, of all place. Its famous(sic) for their 28″ pizza. I got 2 slices of pepperoni, just to try. Not that impressed. Not really close to NY pizza. They do have some other potential choices that you could try, but its not a place I would go out of my way to go to. However, it is ok for when I am in Huntington Park.

I have been coming to Ben’s for years. Their chicken and mushroom fetuccine alfredo is one of the best that I have ever had. For $ 55, you get the half tray of fetuccine and salad. That’s enough to feed at least 10 people! It’s way better than having to spend big bucks at a fancy restaurant. Their employees are excellent and I have yet to encounter bad service from this place. Good job, guys!

Very good food overall and one of the best pizza’s in town. For a party they have a 28″ round pizza that my friends and i love. Great Employee’s. It is a general store with the above restaurant. I eat here at least twice a week sometimes 3 times. If your in the Vernon or the Huntington Park area, this is the place for casual eating of very good food. The bread they use on the sandwiches is fantastic I do not understand the people who only give it one star. I have eaten at Bens for 14 years and love the tuna sandwich with the potato wedges and soft drink for $ 5. Yes they could have more choices to put on it, and yes once in a while the potato wedges are not up to par, but 95% of the time the food is very good and service is not slow

Talk about a one stop shop! My coworker described it as a humorous setting as it is a small pizza place/deli/mexican food with a full general/liquor store and check cashing. Meals are economical(pizza, fries, drink = $ 3.99). Portion size was perfect. I found myself returning to work full but not stuffed. Blue collar workers from around Vernon are the clientele. Place was clean. Nothing to write home about but can’t complain either.

Liquor, check cashing, Deli w/(Italian Food + Mexican Food) all in 1 store. quality of food may not be the best, but sure makes you full and satisfied w/the $ you spend… Giant 22inch pizza w/delivery! Convenient :)

Good sandwiches, pizza and excellent fries. Really easy to call in orders large or small. They also have liquor, sponges and check cashing.

I totally understand that there are a ton of people who work in Vernon(and adjacent) and only 3 reputable places to eat, but that doesn’t mean our standards on quality food ratings should suffer! I heard about this place from co-workers and I was told I «HAD» to go there for lunch. So I went. 2x just to make sure I gave them a fair shot. And I feel like I should’ve saved my time and gas. The food is nothing special. Sandwiches are ok(I think I’d rather have a $ 5 footlong from Subway). Chicken wings chewy. Potato wedges stale. Pizza … soggy. The only noteworthy thing is that they make a humongous 28″ pizza that you can buy for a party. Does it look cool? Yes. Does it taste good? No. I love mom & pop stores and if I worked a little closer, I might give in on 2 stars and frequent this place a little more — but it’s surely not worth a special trip.

i’ve tried ben’s a few times for lunch. i’ve found the experience to be a bit of a headache. you need to order your food way early. like, give them at least 45 minutes. the pasta dishes are more like pasta soup. they swim in whatever sauce you get. the marsala sauce is super crazy salty. you sometimes get an unpleasant fatty, funky-tasting chicken chunk too. the sandwiches are nothing special, and that pizza is super greasy.

What would I do without good old Ben’s? I come here since I work close by and it’s walking distance, so it’s really convenient for me to come here for a quick bite to eat. This place is your normal liquor/convenience store, but they have a kitchen where they whip up pastas, salad, sandwiches, tacos, and pizza. I wouldn’t say the food is amazing, but it does the job when it comes to lunch time. Get the spaghetti with meatballs and order it with no cheese! It’s heavy enough and the cheese overpowers the spaghetti. The carne asada taco combo is good too — make sure to get the green sauce! They offer cup noodles, chips, snacks, drinks, and other items like plates, bowls, kitchen items and other little goodies. Yes, random, but these things come in handy once in a while!
