I just had a haircut today at MVP by Melanie. I was so impressed by the way the cut turned out. I have been very used to having my hair cut a particular way for years. When circumstances changed, I had to find a new stylist. I’m nervous about my hair. It is hard to work with, but Melanie figured it out. She has such precision in her cuts. It was like watching an artist. I could not be happier! I will be setting future appointments with her. Thank you for making my hair look fantastic!

They took us in right away and were really awesome cutting my two year old’s and my very resistant four year old. Actually the first time he didn’t cry. I am very happy with them.

Excellent service. MVP Haircuts was recommended to me by a couple of buddies of mine so I decided to give it a try since I don’t like having to follow a schedule and book an appointment — I just walked in and was greeted very nicely but the young lady cutting hair in the first chair. My wait was only about 5 minutes and Adriana(the nice young lady who greeted me) gave me an excellent haircut while I watched baseball. I will definitely be going back!

Alina is the one to go to for an awesome haircut! She has been doing my son’s hair now for a couple months, and she does an amazing job! Whether I want to keep it long, or trim his hair up for summer, she never disappoints! She is so sweet and patient with my son, even when he is not cooperating!

Still a GREAT place to stop in and get a haircut! Nothing like, being treated as a family here.

The cut varies drastically based on who you draw. Our last visit there was the Worst cut EVER! Never had a ‘good’ haircut. Great Clips is so much better!!!

Great service here at MVP Haircuts! They do a fine job and my son and I both like being able to watch sports! They have a good rewards program too — 10th cut is free and I get coupons from time to time sent right to my phone.

I started taking my young son here after a really good friend of mine, who previously worked there, mentioned Grace. She does such an amazing job on him, even though he cries every other time and isn’t particularly still. My husband also goes to Grace and his cuts have NEVER looked better. I also recently started seeing her for my Brazilian Blowouts. She is seriously the sweetest person and does an excellent job. The salon is so awesome for kids and men, but Grace does a great job on women as well.

Took my 4 year old son for a haircut and Melanie was amazing. She worked with him even though he was a little difficult. I will be taking him back! Only docked a star cuz the receptionist said I couldn’t be in the barber area… come on my sons 4. Lol thanks for the amazing cut on my son!

Pros, Cons, then summary PROS – The ladies there are seasoned and know how to do a fade. Finally, I found a place in Ventura where a skin fade can be done. I’ve tried the new Sport Clips place in Ventura, and although it caters to men, too many of their stylists could not properly do a fade. At MVP, the stylists can. Plenty of parking and wait times weren’t too bad the times I went. Price is about the same as the competitors. CONS – The sport items could use some updating… although I do fondly remember 1980s-1990s sport heroes. One of the ladies was a tad surly to my son, but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt… we all have bad days. I’d go here again because my haircut was great. I used to go to Supercuts, Unicuts, and Sport Clips. I’d recommend MVP over all of those places. The stylists seem to know what they are doing.

Got my 2 kids in within 5 minutes of calling, did a wonderful job with both of them. We were done in 15 minutes. Reasonable price, no complaints!

Wow Venassa M. I have been going to MVP for almost 2 years now, I have always had excellent service there, and I actually request that woman with the so called«nappy hair» lol every time. She treats my 6 year old Daughter so well, she loves getting her hair trimmed by her. I would never trust anyone else touching her hair. The place is always clean, and the management is welcoming. I would without a doubt recommend this place!

I’ve been getting my haircut here for a long time(almost always by the same person) and I am always 100% satisfied. Clean place, nice staff, and watch the game. Haircuts all cost the same. You might as well have a good time when you’re getting one. Spring you are the best. Thank you.

We’ve been coming here for years. Grace is amazing. And you have to try the Johnny B hair gel.

made an appointment for 2:30 over the phone, took a couple minutes to get people straight but then I sat and got a very good haircut in a short amount of time. I’ll go back.

Received a dozen of compliments on the cut I received Saturday. Good conversation and sports on the screens. You are not going for a spa day, just good atmosphere and a clean cut.

Found this place after going to Chipotle a few times. I looked them up on their website and found that they have a pretty sweet set-up. When I went in, it was exactly as they described. Each seat has it’s own HDTV and they ask you what you want to watch. As I got my haircut I was able to both watch Pardon the Interruption as well as carry on a conversation with my «stylist,» Connie. She was really nice too, and gave me a great haircut. The basic haircut itself takes like 15 minutes, but since they don’t take reservations the wait can be long or short depending on what time you go. I got in with only 2 people ahead of me, but while I waited there seemed to be a rush and people coming in were told that the wait was now and hour, but that they could put their name on the list and come back in at that time. Costwise, it has come to be about what I expect for a haircut in California. Where I went to college in Wisconsin, it was about 12, here in Ventura I’ve only been able to find $ 16 haircuts. Luckily their website has a promo section that offers a coupon of $ 2 off any cut. They have haircuts without a shampoo, and ones which are 2 more dollars with a shampoo. I went with the basic. Overall, the haircut felt like any other haircut I’ve gotten, but where this place shines is in their sports theme with a nice array of memorabilia on the wall, and also the fact that you have a personal LCD screen that you can watch tv on as you get your haircut.
