Makeup By Marijane Marie

I recently hired Marijane to do my makeup for my engagement photos & wedding photos. I was new to the Ventura area so I used Google to help me find a local makeup artist. While searching I came across Marijane who had excellent reviews so I decided to give her a call. That was the BEST decision I could have made for my special day. She is AMAZING! Not only does she do exquisite work but she is also incredibly professional & courteous. She came to my house & was on time (even a little early which was great) & she kept track of the time to make sure she completed my makeup in the designated time I had scheduled for her. She works fast but also takes her time & makes sure her work is exactly how you want it to be. She is a perfectionist & incredibly talented. I would STRONGLY recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced & professional makeup artist. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Loved Marijane! She did my makeup for my wedding earlier this month and she was great! I live in CO and got married in Ojai and she was so flexible with my up in the air schedule and even through email you could tell she was knowledgeable and loves what she does. While in California for my sisters wedding we met Marijane and she ended up doing my sisters makeup for her wedding and my sister looked absolutely stunning! Marijane did an amazing job! My sister is one of those girls who doesn’t ever wear makeup and so she was nervous of not looking like herself… but Marijane did an amazing job of just bringing out my sisters beautiful features a little bit more! She is kind and listens you want you want or need done!

Marijane did my eye makeup for an event where I was a bridesmaid. My problem with eye-​shadow is that it melts right away and I don’t know how to get it to stay. She used all the right products because my eye-​shadow looked gorgeous at the end of the night. Creative yet let’s you have your own input. Would definitely recommend!

One word describes marijane’s work, AMAZING!!! She’s done my makeup for every important event and I always look flawless. She did my makeup for my wedding, and tho I’m not happy with the weight I am it doesn’t bother me cuz my makeup looks gorgeous!

Marijane has done make up for a handful of film productions of mine and others and she’s very good and professional. I’ve worked with only a couple of make up artist, but her’s I’ve found to be the best. Well blended, natural, and looks great on camera. I highly recommend her.
