This store is overflowing with unique Mexican jewelry, art, sculptures, and clothing. The friendly owner engages in helping find exactly what you are looking for. There is a huge amount of Day of the Dead stuff all packed into this small shop. We bought some great banners that a friend was searching for. I also bought a wall hanging that was reasonably priced, not as low priced as in Mexico, but pretty good for being right here in Ventura. Browsing through all the bright, festive skirts and art is quite entertaining.

I love this place. Unique items with great great customer service. A lot of handmade paintings I wish I could have them all. Bought my wallet and a beautiful handmade painting that is one of a kind. Paty is kind and helpful and very accommodating to the customer’s needs. I just love this place.

This is THE place to go for Mexican folk art in Ventura or Santa Barbara County. Fantastic selection, fair prices and great attitude… what else do you want? Love this little shop!

One of my favorite stores in Ventura! And the only store I will make a point to visit when I an in town(live in Portland, Or). Great prices, staff always has a smile and friendly and I can spend hours looking around in there!

I remember when they were doing pop stores and am happy they found a permanent home. The owner is as nice as can be. The shop has a wide variety of fun items and it’s nice to see someone specializing in unique items you can’t buy in every other store. You can find something in every price range and something for everyone on your gift list. I purchased some items to prepare for the Dia de los Muertos, but I will be back for some of the Talavera art, the fun jewelry, and the beautiful wall art. Hopefully, more of Midtown will get stores like this and revitalize as an extension of the fun shopping that can be found on Ventura’s Main Street.

Great place to browse for unique and interesting art… I have driven by many times meaning to stop and finally did. Spent a good hour there, and could have stayed longer. Are prices a little higher? Maybe but who wants to drive to Olvera Street or Tijauana? Convenience and a great merchant are worth it…

I love this place! There is no other store around here like this, it is really nice to have this shop in my neighbor. I agree, some of the items are cheesy tourist stuff, but I think that makes this store so much fun and charming. It is a great mix of classic Mexican-folk art, clothes and trinkets. Ranging from time-less pieces like lotteria to some cute fun«tourist» trinkets as mentioned earlier. This store really show-cases how rich and vibrant in color the Mexican culture is. Great place for anyone to come and enjoy a liittttllleee taste of Mexico, other than tacos and burritos. Lastly, Paty the owner is great, she will answer any and all questions and you can put in special requests. She is always kind enough to try and fulfill it for you. And don’t forget to say hi to «Chico» her doggie if you see him. And as a small dog owner myself, I know that sometimes they shake just because they are excited. So don’t be alarmed. * My statement is 100% accurate and based on my sole experience. I was not bribed or paid for my statement and I am not affiliated with them in anyway.*

I love ALL the items in the store, but they are seriously overpriced. Go to Plaza Olvera in LA or TJ and you can find the same items for MUCHLESS $$$$.

Awesome Mexican folk art store — clothing, jewelry, art, wall hangings, bags, and tons of miscellaneous wonderment. The proprietress was kind and accommodating, answering questions and patiently waiting on us — I dropped loads of $ on some art and two lovely embroidered blouses. I love this place and will be back for more goodies!

Cool Mexican folk art here!!! The little shop is close to Mission San Buenaventura. Lots of really neat jewelry and even some lose skull beads. I saw a couple of Chavo del Ocho dolls. One of them was Donya Florinda haha!!! Most of the art is Dia de Muertos inspired. Some of the art wasn’t really that great in quality though. When it comes to Mexican folk art you can tell what is made for tourists and what is made for people that know what to look for. Here they sell some cheesy touristy stuff. They have some stuff in sale bins. The girl that works here has got style and is really cool.
