Rarely do I find good stuff. Overpriced in my opinion.

I go peek in this store whenever I am in the downtown Ventura area and have yet to find a thing. The parking is front is by meter but there is a small free parking lot in the back but there is never any parking. I love to treasure hunt for items that you can’t find in the malls but this store has never done it for me. The store is well organized and clean.

This goodwill has many aisles of clothing that is normally in good condition. There are times that I have taken home clothing that has a hole or stain that I did not see so be sure and examine everything carefully. Besides clothing there are many knock knacks that most often are junk. Sometimes you can find something interesting but the prices on it is outrageous. There are also sales occasionally that only last for the morning and are over before us working stiffs can enjoy them despite their being a sign on the door saying«sale today!». This is very disappointing and feels deceitful. If the sale is over take down the signs.

This store was pact on a Monday morning. I managed to find three random things at an excellent price. I price check everything with Amazon app and everything I got was listed 10 – 20 bucks cheaper. Very happy with my purchases and glad that everything I got was unbroken :)

Friendly staff, decent selection, one-week return policy with receipt since they do not have any dressing rooms, convenient location with ample free parking nearby. Lost a star because the place is usually unorganized/messy, sometimes dirty, and desperately needs a remodel. It also gets extremely busy on weekends. I’d absolutely recommend shopping here to fellow frugal shoppers!

I really love this goodwill. Its clean and easy to find what you need. Everything labeled or has signs stating prices. They get new donated items from Target so you can often get brand new stuff for a fraction of the price. I love their glass vases and nick nacks! Have purchased tons of kids clothing in excellent to new condition. Staff is friendly and helpful. Luke and Brianna are awesome! Tons of amazing buys and there’s always new stuff put out. Sometimes they have half off everything sales which rock!

Great store, love finding all the brand new items from target here! Only complaint I have is sometimes they charge nearly what the store is charging for the items. Came across a brand new in box etch a sketch from target and they wanted 10 for it. Also dresses that I have seen specifically at target in the clearance section for cheaper than they are selling them here. But still great stuff and super clean!

Negatives: This goodwill overprices many items, especially when compared to the goodwills in Ventura county. When there are so many thrift stores on the same street, it seems like should have better prices due to the competition. The store gets crowded in the home section, everything should be spaced out more. Positives: clean and organized. Occasional«score» purchases.

I’ve got to admit it. I’m addicted to Goodwill shopping. Or I should say I was until I moved to Ventura County. What’s wrong with Ventura? There are NOT any try on(dressing) rooms in any their Ventura County stores(I’ve been told). I don’t know about you but for me this pretty much eliminates the purchase of any pants, shorts, dresses, or shirts. Oh well. Guess they really don’t want my business. Bummer! Now I’ll have to find another favorite place to shop for discount clothes.

I like this Goodwill store because it’s newly remodeled, clean, open and has good prices. Some of the other thrift stores on the main street in Ventura are NOT cheap and this place has pretty standard Goodwill prices. For example, the wedding dress I found here — I brought it to the counter and the cashier warned me that because it was a formal dress it wasn’t the standard $ 6 price. We checked the tag. It was $ 9. OMG! Their wedding dresses are not always that cheap, but you can find some really good stuff here without spending a lot! I came here a week or so ago looking for ankle socks. The only socks I could find were in a big box of random crap and few were actually stuck with their mates, but after hunting around I found three pair I liked. They were $ 0.25 per pair. How can you beat that?! Some of the other stores on this street have better selection, but none have a better combo of price and quality combined.

Very clean, well organized. The only reason I go is to find the Target clearance items. When Targets item that have been marked down on clearance haven’t sold they sell them to Goodwill. This means you can find brand new items for way less than you would pay at Target. Usually the clothes comes in a huge cardboard box and you have to really dig for it but if you’ve got time you’ll find something. Can be a little bit more than what I would like to pay but cheaper than what you would have paid if it were still in the store. Great for housewares like dishes, curtains, misc all brand new. The furniture that comes from Target, which is also like new, can sometimes have dings or imperfections but still good shape tends to be overpriced. Secondhand clothes thats donated from the public isn’t great. Best items I’ve found are: –Target cookie jar that was still in the store regular price $ 20 goodwill price $ 2.99 –Baby gate, brand new $ 25 at Goodwill $ 10 –Dresses I saw on clearance at Target just a week before for $ 12, Goodwill $ 5.99 –Brand new box of bakeware still at Target $ 40 Goodwill $ 15 It’s worth a stop.

Cleanest Thrift store I have ever been in. It was organized well, and the staff was nice and helpful. The prices were fine. The clothes are literally new, so the prices were accurate. They have a wonderful book section, and a impressive shoe area. The store gives you a feel of a department store. In someways, cleaner too!

First of all, this Goodwill is really clean and well organized. It makes me feel comfortable shopping here lol Next, the deals are reasonable if not pretty cheap. I bought a black mini skirt for $ 2.99 and yellow false eyelashes in its original package for $ 0.69 cents. Not bad at all for a couple of things. Other sale items I saw were $ 10 for a old tv, $ 2 for a USB cable and $ 0.50 for a set of thank you cards.

Like a previous poster said, this is the cleanest Goodwill I’ve ever seen. Amazing. What’s even more amazing is the prices they had the gall to put on their stuff. Is this Goodwill or Walmart? Actually I think Walmart would be cheaper. I’ll still give it three stars for being so clean and organized.

You can almost always find something here! They’ve got tons of new with tag items, if you’ve got the time to look! I got 2 CDs, 1 adult Halloween costume, on dog Halloween costume, and 2 Halloween décor pieces for $ 8!

This is probably the cleanest Goodwill I’ve ever been to. Seriously, a thrift store that doesn’t smell like moth balls? I couldn’t believe that I could actually breathe or didn’t feel the need to hold my breath because of the infamous thrift store stench. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised; it is Ventura after all. Very well-lit with natural lighting during the afternoon. The thing that caught my eye the most was the abundance of used books. If I lived in the area, I’d def make more trips here. Don’t forget to bring your ID for a discount(student/military/senior). P. S. Don’t bother paying for parking on Main St. if you’re willing to walk it. There’s plenty of parking around the area for free.
