It’s alright they have loud music, they have a lot of flavors the hookah had a good flavor was smooth, wasn’t that many people , it’s kind of over priced, great place for the only one in ventura but it was great for a first timer will come again

First impression: no one was really there on a Saturday night. It was really overpriced for one bowl and a max of two flavors. The atmosphere was awful and the flavor selection wasn’t great. If you are looking for something fun to do, do not come to this place.

Pictures make it look better than it really is. Hookah is good for the price. But the couches are run down and the music is alright!

This place has great potential. They are off to a great start. I hope they take off. Ventura needs a place like this. Best of luck.

Great service. I love their tea! The hookah is pretty decent and cheap. The atmosphere is pretty chill. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

One of the chilliest most relaxed lounges I’ve been to. Amazing owner Sam who really just wants himself and people in his lounge to be happy.
They serve the best tobacco around, Tangiers! And many others.
They use all km hookahs and add to that they have a huge smoke shop in the entrance with everything you need for anything. At great prices.
They charge a fair rate for hookah and it’s a down to earth cool place to go grab a hookah and tea.

It’s all in the name, chilax and just enjoy the atmosphere! Sam the owner makes everyone who walks in feel like they are walking into their own place.

The environment, hookahs, and employees are great! They carry top of the line products and have amazing prices! The employee’s always recommended great flavors. We chose blackberry melon blend and a little cane mint which was recommended, it took very little time for my friends and I to get our bowl of tabacco and some coals! We also got to choose different drinks from water, soda, or tea. They also checked on us multiple times and brought us some great tea! We will be back for some more great hookah!

To say the least this business is in dire need of more experienced waitresses, better sound system, and an alcohol license. Just a lil disappointed with the overall quality. Chillax doesn’t suit it as an appropriate title, more like the Weak Spot. They need some 2012 updating, desperately! A one drink linking per head, ridiculous, but I guess the 805 isn’t what it used

A very relaxed environment and a great place to come with friends if you’be have nothing to do. On Fridays they have a DJ which is a plus but if you plan on coming on that day or Saturday be warned it does get a very busy. It has a wide variety of tobaccos which is great if you want variety (try the cane mint, you won’t displeased). The owner is a real cool guy and makes everyone feel welcomed. Swing by and remember smoke on!

What a weird place. Walked in to a yelling match between someone I thought was the owner and a customer– very unprofessional to say the least. It is NEVER okay to scream and swear at a customer. The set up was really strange also, just some couches thrown together in a room. Drove all the way from Newbury Park and turned right back around and went home. I don’t think we would have stayed even if the yelling and arguing weren’t going on (even though that wasted our time as well, who knows when we would have gotten served) because the entire set up was really cheap and hokey. No thank you!

Went here for the first time last night with some friends. The owner was extremely friendly and inviting which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Everything was very fairly priced, and our waitress made sure we enjoyed our experience. I will definitely be going back!

They offer a variety of flavored tobaccos that you can share with a couple of friends. I like the Blackberry… although the Watermelon with Peppermint was rather tasty too. But heck!!! I’ll continue to try new flavors because it’s part of the unique experience. They also have non-​alcoholic beverages that can be purchased as well.
I’m contemplating buying a Hookah for home use too. Chillax Hookah Lounge has an extremely large variety of quality Hookahs that are beautiful. I saw a Mermaid Hookah that I think is really cool… I think I might get that one.
This establishment has a great atmosphere with comfortable couches to lounge on and music that sets the mood for fun with old and new friends. You’ll find yourself caught up in a new pastime, longing for your next adventure there. The owners are really friendly and the girls who work there are really sweet too.
I’ll definitely head back over to the Chillax Hookah Lounge because it’s just a fun place to be! Check it out!!! You’ll be happy you did!!!

The ONLY hookah place in Ventura County (that I know of).
Just got back from my second time there (the first was with the most excellent Tammy Q) and once again this spot delivers on their name.
Having frequented hookah spots in Chicago, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable and spacious the spot was. Each hookah is pretty affordable during the week at $ 10.99 and a mandatory drink purchase for each person. The servers I’ve had have been skimpily dressed and friendly. They’ve got lots of space, good ventilation, and solid Pandora (hip hop) tunes to vibe to.
Was skeptical at first because of the nightmarish website and menu designs, but I”ll definitely be coming back to this dive-​y retail space with an unlit sign.
(Mostly because there’s a hookah place in VC at all.)

There aren’t very many choices for hookah lounges in Ventura so when I found this place via online I decided to give it a shot. What do you know, its directly next to Ventura College! I can totally see people going there after class: D Despite the sketchy exterior we decided to give the place a try anyways. Once inside though everything went really well.
Prices were very affordable, you can share the hookah with as many people as you want but there is a one drink minimum ($ 3) per person. I’d advise you to stay away from the orange juice. We really enjoyed the house special chillax king flavor hookah. The atmosphere was chill, super comfortable couches and the music was spot on. Staff was helpful and friendly and I’m not just saying that because the girls were in super skimpy outfits.
I’d come back here again.
