I wanted to not only write a review about the amazing service but the products that changed my life as well. I first started to see Kezia to fix my eyebrows that were basically gone because of another waxing place in Oxnard. They were pretty bad but over time we got them back for the most part. I could go on and on about how friendly the staff is and how amazing the waxes and facials are that I received because they were AMAZING!
The real reason I am writing this review is because I was a 36 year old woman who still got pimples. I was super frustrated with my skin and finally asked Kezia if she could recommend something. She started me on a start over pack for acne prone skin. Please note that my skin wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t pretty and I was done dealing with acne at my age. It’s basically a sample size pack of a complete skin care system. I could NOT believe the results. It’s their own brand of products from Cara Mia and I don’t know what I would do without them. I have tried MANY expensive products over the years to try to deal with my skin. My search has ended. I moved back to Colorado and still order these products from them, that’s how truly amazing they are. I often get compliments on my skin now, something that NEVER would have happened before I found these products!
Go see these ladies at Cara Mia! They can help you with everything from waxing to makeup and skin care needs. I truly miss this place.

Kezia is the sweetest + does an amazing job. After 9 years in San Francisco at some of the best day spas in the country I moved to Ventura and needed to start from scratch finding new places for chick errands like eyebrow waxing and eyelash tints. I went to Cara Mia and I was very impressed with the services, the cost was fair and affordable and Kezia is super nice and approachable.
I will be back and would recommend her to anyone.

I got a facial about a month ago at Cara Mia and my face has been doing so much better! I got the acne facial by Kezia the owner of Cara Mia and I would highly recomend booking with her. Cara Mia is amazing at custom blending makeup as well, I recently had my custom liquid foundation and powder created by one of the makeup artists names Alicia, she did a great job matching my skin tone and I will deffinatly be coming back!

I don’t think the person who said she hates the new location and I are visiting the same Cara Mia! I love the new location; lots of free parking (unlike Main Street), adorable building, very charming, and so many great skin care items and accessories. Alicia is so warm and helpful and Kezia (the owner) is amazing. I have been coming to Cara Mia for about 3 or 4 years and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. It is really nice to see an old building transformed into a beautiful place that you just want to go to and look at all of the goodies. I cannot recommend Kezia and Cara Mia any higher!

I’ve been going to Kezia for under a year. She has helped me greatly with my 40+ year old skin. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to skin care. She’s been very effective with my teen daughter’s skin as well. I love my custom makeup. I would highly recommend their products. My eyebrows have never looked better!

I have been going to Cara Mia for almost 10 months, I am very happy with Kezia. She does her best to make any waxing pain free. I really enjoy going to Cara Mia, and love the atmosphere. The new shop feels classy and sophisticated. I really love the era she captures with her portraits on the walls and the chic clothes.

I just had one of the best facials, ever! My all-​time favorite facial is called the Repechage 4 Layer Facial and I started getting them 25 years ago in Palm Springs. It is the best facial for my skin type. Unfortunately, it is hard to find anyone who does them in Ventura. Kezia @ Cara Mia does them and she is an expert at doing them. I am thrilled to find her. FYI — Cara Mia has moved and is now @ 1484 Main St. across the street from Isensee Floor Covering, which is another great business!

Had a facial by Susie she was amazing. My skin looked flawless after the facial and I felt refreshed and relaxed. I have had facials at other places but can say Susie has been the best thus far. :)

I was a little confused where this place moved to. Susie always has done amazing peels, micro dermabrasions and eyelash extensions! Yes she does it all, and is the only esthetician that offers all this. I went to the new location and hate it! If it wasn’t for Susie I wouldn’t go back. The shopping reminded me of old lady stuff. No offense but the décor and front is cheap and awful! What happened!!! The owner needs to get it together !! You walk in and all u see is dust and hideous purses and rhinestone clutches! And 70s style glasses. The owner clearly goes to LA and gets this stuff super cheap and hikes up the prices! Sorry I’m not rude but was very disappointed. 5 stars for Susie !!

My experience at Cara Mia was great. Kezia was very professional and helpful.
Two of my family members were with me and Kezia took her time assisting all of us. The products at Cara Mia are natural and I appreciate that they can be compounded for me while I am there. I loved the experience and so did my family. Every woman should enjoy the Cara Mia experience.

I LOVE the new location! Kezia has been waxing my eyebrows for the past two years. I’d follow her anywhere because no one else has ever gotten my eyebrows right. The new place is warm and intimate. It smells amazing in there. I love getting the reminder phone call a few days before my appointment. I love that everyone who works there is nice to me and makes me feel comfortable. And, I never feel pushed or pressured. Also, now parking is free!

I’m so glad one of my best friends told me about this place! I just had a diamond tip microderminbrasin done by Kezia and let me just say it was way better than I ever imagined it would be. I have never been big on taking care of my skin and within this last year I realized how important it is to do this. I was so happy that Kezia went over so many things about skincare with me. She was very knowledgable about her products and other companies products such as MAC, Clinique etc. I really feel with the pointers she gave me I will be able to improve and maintain my skin. Let’s face it none of us are getting any younger! I also loved that they don’t push any products on you to buy, and that makes me want to shop here even more! I also loved how friendly everyone is. I can’t wait to come back for my next facial :)

Before I started coming to Cara Mia I was lost. I had tried going to other places to get my brows done but they never came out how I wanted and people weren’t all that friendly. Then I tried Cara Mia and instantly I knew I found my go-​to place. The staff is always friendly and offer tea or water if I’m early and have to wait a few minutes. I feel so relaxed when I’m there. Kezia has been doing my eyebrows for years now and I will never go anywhere else!

I love the staff and owner at Cara Mia! They are beyond sweet, caring, and extremely knowledgable! I’ve had spray tans, facials, make up done, and my eyebrows waxed, and I have been extremely pleased with everything! I can’t stop getting their spray tans too! They are great and make you feel so comfortable when normally it would be an awkward situation. They even have heaters so you don’t freeze when you are getting sprayed. They think of everything! I have never been unsatisfied and I love them all and all they have to offer! They also have great deals going on.

I was fascinated by idea of having custom blended lipstick — unfortunately I was in store for over 1 hour accomplishing this! I am not sure if the girl really understood what she was doing. Also, as she was the only employee she needed to stop and start to answer phones, and help walk in customers.
Would I go back probably not — I am happy with over the counter purchases at Nordstrom and much quicker…

I went here for a facial and massage with Suzie, based on a conversation I had with someone who had amazing eyebrows from Erika. I tried to book an appointment with Erika, but she was booked up. Suzie did an awesome job on the facial, but the massage was average.
On another visit I finally got my eyebrows done by Erika via threading and she did an amazing job! Now I know why all the amazing reviews. Since my first visit with Erika I have been back twice, truly a fan. Keep in mind Erika is super busy, so make sure and call ahead. Actually Erika is horrible, don’t go to her, because if you do I wont be able to get an appointment, just kidding!!!

If you are looking for an esthetician, look no further than Kezia, owner of Cara Mia in Old Town Ventura. I have been going to Kezia monthly for facials and facial waxing for over 2 years. She is extremely professional, caring and has worked wonders on my aging skin. Additionally, she has never «pushed» products, which has been my experience at other studios. I always look forward to my appointments and leave with a glow on my face.
