Yummy and healthy. It is a bit tucked away but worth the effort to get there. I don’t have a favorite thing here. Fresh healthy food the home made soups rock. West LA healthy in Ventura.

For the price, and for what I ordered, I should of filled up. Not very generous with the vegetables, it could of made it a five star. More like a snack spot. #veganstomach

A co-worker recommended this place and I was pleasantly surprised. For such a small place, the menu options were almost overwhelming. A seemingly endless list of sandwich, wrap, and salad options. There are so many options they couldn’t even fit them all on the menu. So there are signs on the walls and under the counter with even more items. In fact, the choices are so overwhelming that when I chose the Crantastic Wrap, the lady had to check the sign on the wall to remember what is in it! It was very good. Moist chicken, spinach, cranberry, goat cheese, apples, pears, pecan, and arugula. Excellent. I also ordered the Lavender ice cream, which apparently was so cold that the lady had trouble scooping it out for me. There are a few drawbacks though. As much as I love independent Mom and Pop shops like this, with only two employees in the whole place, the wait can be longer than most places, especially around lunch time. So if you only have a short break, you may have trouble getting your food in time. Also, it’s very small and has only a couple tables, so if you’re here around lunch time, you might have to get your food to go because there may not be any tables available. But the food is quite good and the two ladies working here were funny. So it does tend to endear itself to you. Plus, there aren’t many other options in this area, so if you are close by, this is a no brainer.

Loved meeting Julie with my mom. She was a very sweet lady and made me the best strawberry lemonade I’ve ever had in my life. My mom enjoyed her burrito as well. I’ll definitely be back to visit this cute little place when I’m in town again. :)

Note to the manager: don’t list your place as vegan if it has only one salad and one soup(which are terrible by the way) that are vegan! This place is, sorry, but such a joke… The pin pad for the cards didn’t work, so they were accepting only cash. The vegan options are ridiculous, being a «vegan café» their menu consisting from pork, chicken, eggs just doesn’t make sense. My husband took a sandwich which was tasteless and had soooo freaking many jalapinios in it, like it consisted mostly from it, some cheese and spinach. And my vegan chili was just a couple of olives in the broth. Yess! That was it. I’ll attach the picture so you can see this super healthy and delicious meal lol. It was the worst soup in my life, and I’m not kidding. Overall, sorry to say but this place sucks. I rarely write such negative reviews but that was it…

Today was the first time eating here. My wife and I both had a sandwich and and shared a smoothie. The food was awesome! They were a bit under staffed for a lunch rush. The down part of this visit was who I assume is the owner, was barking orders at the poor kid trying his best, to «move move move!!» «Faster faster!!!» First of all, I don’t want my food being prepared by someone being rushed because that’s how mistakes are made. Second, yelling and lecturing your employee to be faster in front of customers is a no no!!!

So I was browsing through Unilocal looking for something to pick up for lunch. My coworker and I came across Café Nefola. Decided to give it a shot, and I am so happy we did! I looked up the menu online and called in our orders. The place is small and in a strange location– but it works. I was so happy with my meal. It was delicious! I will be returning here and bringing more people with me.

Smoothies are reasonable and good customer service. Julie always has a friendly welcoming smile when you arrive and is willing to create smoothies or lunches exactly how you want it. They also do vegan meals.

Great local spot with yummy lunch options. You can choose from the menu or make your own salad, wrap or sandwich. The Big C wrap was so tasty. Very fresh and great for a quick and healthy lunch.

They say vegan/vegetarian but it’s flexible for carnivores. I’ve ordered a few things off the menu and I have yet to feel like I was missing something. The service is friendly and the location is kind of a bummer. The soup is always on point and the staff is super friendly and always recommending something new. I love their lemonades and ice teas. My favorite things to order off the menu is the Rosemary bread paninis. If you’re looking for delicious vegan food stop here!

The food here is fresh and delicious. Lots of choices, everything looks good. I didn’t find it overpriced at all. Good portion sizes, and they are not stingy with the amount of veggies, meats, etc. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. NOT like a bar and grill at all! Great for vegetarians and vegans, really good for non-vegetarians who are just health conscious.

Currently applying for a job here and I have absolutely nothing negative I could say about this place… food is amazing, fresh and healthy. It’s adorable and what can I say? I love to support local businesses. Eat healthy and eat local people!

Sooooo yummy, green grinch smoothie is amazing and I got the caprese panini. Got it delivered which took a bit longer than I hoped but I ordered at lunch time so what could I expect. I’ll be spreading the word about this place!

Wish I could give a review but I have yet to go to this place and have it be open. If your posted hours say your open until 6 maybe don’t close at 5.

Pros: The food is VERY good. Cons: Most smoothie-and-panini type people probably won’t appreciate the atmosphere(mix between a fast food joint and, with the tv and awful music, a bar & grill). The menu is overwhelming. The owner is well-meaning, but quite frankly, she treated us a little too much like regulars(talked our freaking ears off). Didn’t have a lot of time to spend chatting with my girlfriend, and she seriously took up about 30% of it. She just kept coming back to the table and talking to us like we seemed really interested and it wasn’t our first time there… I know she’s trying to be friendly but it was rather uncomfortable and annoying. Given this and the somewhat-remote location, I don’t foresee going back.

Absolutely one of best discoveries I’ve found in along time. The service is friendly and helpful, the food portions are generous and the cost won’t break your wallet. I had Greg’s Gift which consisted of chicken, corn, bell pepper, black beans, cheese in your choice of a tortilla(spinach, sun dried tomato or plain) it’s then put into a panini press and your side are carrots and celery. It’s was delicious! You can also create your own and they will make it to order. Give it a try, you’ll be a fan in no time!

This use to be our healthy spot for lunch when they were located on Victoria and now they have moved a little further away. We decided to give them a try at their new place and upon first impression, it seemed like Nefola made a bad decision on their location. But boy were we wrong! Once we opened the door we could barely walk in because it was so packed! We’ve never seen it this packed before at the other location and it wasn’t even lunch time. I guess business is great there and I’m happy for them because the food and service is awesome. They are a little slow but that’s because everything is being prepared for you as you order it. So if you are indecisive or lagging it will slow the whole process down. I usually order one of the sandwiches on the wall and on this day I happened to order«The Best Choice»(Olive bread, chicken, hearts of palm, pepperoncini, jack cheese, pesto, mayo, raspberry vinaigrette) and a «Green Grinch”(Kale, zucchini, spinach, pineapple, apple, mango, banana, mandarin orange). Everything was fresh, has the same delicious flavor and the Grinch was on point packed with my daily dose of green vegetables. I HIGHLY recommend it, very fruity. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros
