Salt is for the woman that doesn’t have weeks to shop because she’s too busy living a life. Salt carries great clothes with a sophisticated yet effortless look. You will look put together but not overdone. Salt has a mix of unusual hard to find designers that flatter but are still practical and timeless. Holly the owner knows what she’s doing and is here to stay. With her knowledge of design she could be stuffy and unkind but she’s not she’s down to earth and approachable. I get compliments every time I wear the many items I’ve purchased there because of the quality, tailoring and style. Unfortunately a lot people have never heard of the labels SALT carries (part of what i like about it) so when they realize they have to make the trek to Venice Beach I often wonder if they do, if they don’t they don’t know what they’re missing!

Love this store. They have great clothes for life in Southern California. Their mix of clothes, candles, jewelry, and misc. accessories keeps my shopping addiction active!

Salt is a fashion gem on Abbot Kinney for the woman who has an unique understated sense of style. The owner Holly Boies is constantly seeking out collections and designers that you will not find everywhere. Beautiful fabrics and well made quality pieces She has some of the best basic pants and shirtings and knits. Along with her, her staff is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming.
Prices are not for the faint of heart it is not disposable clothing. It is timeless investment dressing that you will have for many seasons.

The best clothing shop on Abbot Kinney! The new location is sensational with all the terrific lines as the other shop plus lots of new ones. The owner sells the full Majestic Paris t-​shirt line. She has an amazing eye for the distinctive almost like a museum curator. The shop is showing lots more exquisite accessories in the new location too. It’s one of those gems!

beautfiul understated modern clothing — simple but well tailored from excellent fabrics. i can’t afford anything here as the tops and pants typically retail for $ 500+ a piece, but I love browsing the selection of nicely edited clothes that they have.

love love the boutique owner holly. the boutique is minimalist carrying brands such as hache, majestic, etc. holly just added a small section for men’s wear.
