Candy paradise! When I walked passed this place on 3rd Street Promenade, I had that whizz of sweet aroma floating in the air and decided to go in to take a look. And it’s definitely any candy lover’s paradise. I grabbed a little plastic bag and just grabbed a bunch of different candies and tossed it in. They charge it by weight, and it’s actually pretty damn pricey, almost $ 10 for a handful of candy. Nonetheless it was delicious, I just wish it was cheaper because a lot of their things are extremely pricey. They have a lot of unique candy that you probably won’t find elsewhere, so I suppose that’s what you would buy from them — such as Harry Potter themed sweets and all that.

Having a kid and making him walk along the board walk on a hot afternoon, a stop at It’s Sugar was perfect to keep him(and us) entertained. Prices are kind of high, but they carry unique gag gifts as well as a huge selection of serve yourself candy which we did. Tons of candy bars you won’t find elsewhere anymore, games, fun clothing, accessories and games. Service was super nice, the store clean and well stocked. Nice stop while in the area.

This is a candy lover’s dream! So many different types of candy! The vibe is great, everything is so colorful and happy. I recently came here with my daughter and we tried all kinds of different treats. They even had a huge box of nerds which I might end up coming back for, lol. The employees are cheerful and super nice. The only downside is that the candy(priced per pound) is a little expensive… but hey, you only live once, get sugar wasted!

I loved it! Its looks like a little kids place with all the the over sized candy and gummy bears! I went in there looking for one thing and i found it! Big Jawbreakers! Since i’m pregnant i have been craving jaw breakers and sweets and this was the place i ended up going while on a business trip! i loved it! Plus the cashier there was super nice! I didn’t catch her name, but she had this Bright Blur hair! She also told me that i got 15% sent to my email if i wanted to order more candy!

VERY cool store. I want to go back just to continue to browse the amazing selection they have here. Maybe it’s just because it’s still a little new, but the staff was super helpful and nice. Nice little tourist stop down in Venice or fun for some novelty sweets.

I’m not a huge candy person, but I wanted to check out this store because it looked fun. It is a large candy store with almost everything you could need candy-wise. I love how colorful it is and all the options. I do have to say my favorite part about this store is all the silly and naughty candy haha. They would make great gifts. I also loved the oversized candy — I was tempted to buy a couple containers of the SweetTarts — my favorite! Fun place to check out along the Venice beach boardwalk.

This place ROCKS! All the HUGE candy collections and fun memorabilia made me feel like a kid in the candy store… literally. At this particular location, the prices were much more reasonable and they had a better variety of candy goodies that the store on the Universal City Walk did not have. My friends and I were able to find sour bottle caps, chocolate covered oreos, strawberry covered gummy bears, pixi stick lip balm and so much more! Seriously, this place is AMAZING! Its a must on your shopping list if you visit the board walk. KJ

How awesome! I found another It’s Sugar location. Sweet treats on the boardwalk is a nice surprise. This place doesn’t have any cool candy statue on display but it still has the gigantic sized sweets in stock. They carried Chocolate Banana covered Gummy Bears and Mini Chocolate covered Oreos. and both I’ve never heard of before so I just had to get them. The gummy bears had a slight banana hint when you first eat it but it lingers a little bit longer in your mouth. The chocolate Oreo is just that. Sweet. This would be one of my stops when I come back to the boardwalk. «Have a sweet day.»
