While we haven’t made our purchase yet, we spent a good amount of time in the store. We had a very good experience with the owner, Sasha. She was very patient with us, and made the browsing experience fun and insightful. It really goes to show that you get what you pay for. Excellent service, excellent products. :)

Maybe this store is good, but it moved locations and did a really poor job of transitioning the public. There is no information about the move listed on their website nor is it mentioned on their«directions and hours» message on their primary store number. Following their published location info, therefore, I just drove to the old building, which I’d passed before, assuming I could view their Flor carpet tile display(a hard-to-find commodity in L.A. these days) and perhaps order some carpet through them. Once I arrive, however, I find the store is vacant and there’s a sign on their window announcing the new large-scale design showroom opening around the corner(on Lincoln) sometime in July 2009. Another call to their main number confirms that they have no receptionist, no matter what zeroing out or trying extensions. So I drive to the new location and the showroom is, of course, not open. It doesn’t even seem like it’s very retail-friendly — more of a secured high-rise office building. No sign, no answers. Terrible parking-less location. Thanks for wasting my time and gas, I don’t have a month to wait for this store to reopen. Forget it.

On selection, they get 5 stars. Spend 5min in their showroom, heck even a visit to the bathroom is inspiring 5imin. You’ll walk out feeling like a little kid after seeing and touching so many new shapes, colors and textures. Again, pay a visit if you want to see a really cool(and sometimes eco friendly) smörgåsbord of building materials. My fiancé’ put me to task: remove carpet in living room and bedroom and install the same pressed bamboo flooring that match the existing floor in the rest of the house. I swung by epoxygreen with a full sized, leftover plank of the existing flooring. They said«no problem, we can match that — do you want it in 2 or 3 days?». I placed my order and started ripping up carpet. The delivery arrived on-time, which was nice — I only had a 2 day window to complete the job. The only issue was a major one — the floor didn’t match. The bamboo floor that was delivered was darker and wider(plank width) than the sample I furnished. What a bummer, if I had more time to complete the job and if it wasn’t a Friday evening, I would have made an attempt to correct this. But considering the baby shower for our first child was starting in less than 48hrs, I got moving. *I later confirmed that the color match issue was NOT a dye lot consideration.” I assume epoxygreen could not match the exact vendor, color and width even having a full sized sample, with the part number and producer’s name pressed into the back of the sample board. I agree with Brother B — they need to step up their game.

well they did not have that fabulous $ 9 in stock in any of the colors I wanted. And I was not happy after both owners assured me it was a 2– 7 day turnaround. I’ve now found that same tile, even cheaper. I still have to order and wait but I will, with another supplier who was clear about the order, who will also install it and @ a lower cost. I’m buying my no VOC paint from the other store too.(note: the final tile order was ready for me in a few days– the other supplier had more samples and the one I ultimately went with was immediately available) Epoxy Green is well intentioned, they just need to step up their game.
