DeeZiner Cakes and Pastries

Went here to have a cake made for my birthday party a bit ago. The woman at the front wrote down exactly what colors and everything I wanted on my cake. When we went to pick it up a week later, she had done the colors all wrong and didn’t put some of the frosting flowers we requested on the cake. This was brought up, and instead of offering any discount or compensation for the mistake, nothing was done about it and they didn’t seem to care much that they have flubbed on the cake we were so excited about. Was not impressed by the quality of service, although what we did wind up with was not too bad.

Dee made us some very tasty desserts (and I don’t usually even like sweets!) for our wedding.
Instead of going the traditional route and doing a big cake, my (now) wife and I opted for a bunch of mini-​cupcakes instead. That way, we could provide guests with a choice of a bunch of different flavors and also it helped keep the cost down. Of course, that didn’t stop the bride from wanting to sample a few cakes while we were there… ;)
I’m lactose-​intolerant, which cuts down on a lot of the usual recipes. Dee was very accommodating, though, and was able to come up with quite a few dairy-​free options for me, so I was able to enjoy at least half of the flavors. In addition to the cupcakes, we also got some peanut butter cookies (dairy free as well).
All in all, I’m glad we got as big of a selection as we did. We had around thirty guests at the wedding and the deserts got eaten pretty quick! Luckily, though, someone saved us some extras in the fridge, so we got to finish off the last of it the next day.
