Hell yeah. I’m drooling just looking at my pictures of the sandwich I ordered which was the veggie breakfast sandwich. It was a biscuit with a fried egg, cheese, a fried Dr. Praegers California patty, tomato, and avocado. It took a little while for it to come out but it was HEAVEN. Pure bliss. I cried, they cried, we cried together. There was a baby sitting in the corner coloring but it looked up at that sandwich and one tear dropped down its cheek and then it smiled, knowing that this piece of heaven was going where it belonged. Zeus put a little piece of himself in that sandwich and after one bight of that cheesy, eggy, veggie patty heaven I was feeling like Hercules. Two bites and I was lifting buildings. After that whole sandwich I was wearing a toga and ruling Olympus. I burnt my mouth 4 or 5 times eating that sandwich but is it really a burn or was my body just not properly adjusting the atmosphere of that sandwich? I only orbited it once before touching down so I should have blamed myself but I thought I was moving faster than the speed of heat. I may be immortal but my might will always be defeated by the ultimate power of this sandwich. So yeah, the sandwich was pretty alright… I’ll definitely go back to Vashon just to eat here again.

It’s a good whole in the wall«slow» fast food joint. Came to explore the town on NY day, but didn’t realize that all the stores are closed. So had lunch and I want to stay for dinner. Great place for kids especially.

I went to walk in and the owner sees me, RUNS to the window to change the sign from open to closed literally in my face without being like«hey, sorry we close at 8:00». jerk move. This place is never open. Don’t waste your time. Decent food

This is my go-to place for reliable tasty fast food that actually has nutrients. I go for the yummy Zat burgers on a gluten-free bun or the homemade soups — and recently, an amazing egg salad sandwich! Service is friendly and the zombie-themed ambience always amusing. A great place to meet up with friends, too.

I ordered a chorizo burrito. The homefries in it were not cooked enough.

Awesome food and service. Try the ZAT burger or the Seared Ahi Tuna salad. But really everything they do is great. Fun theme too!

Zombiez is still a classic. Awesome burgers and fries with an eclectic zombie themed atmosphere. We sat on the back patio on a beautiful fall day. Tried the zombie bowling too! I highly recommend the green chile burger if you like spicy! Love their fried zucchini with sriracha mayo dipping sauce too. Kids menu comes with a mini– ice cream cone or slushie!

I had high expectations and was sorely disappointed both times I tried the food here. In both items I ordered there was an odd spice/seasoning/sauce added that ruined the food. I do not plan on returning anytime soon.

Service was great, food was delicious! I got fish and chips and it was perfect. Very juicy! The tartar sauce was also very good. I really want to try the fish sandwich though, so I will be going back to try that!

I don’t know what’s going on with Zombiez, but it’s been very hit or miss lately. I wish I could give it a 2.5 star rating, but to avoid the«Meh» standard, I’ll upgrade it to «A-OK» just because my daughter still loves to go there for clam strips, fish and chips, and/or ice cream(all of which they continue to do fairly well). I do still love the tuna and avocado sandwich(ZAT), but not enough to make a weekly visit into the shop anymore. The biggest frustration is the repeated inappropriate«behavior» of the staff behind the counter. One employee in particular was always gossiping and bad mouthing customers to her co-workers, in ear shot of said customers(she admittedly may not work there anymore). Vashon is already notorious for terrible customer service, but that takes the Blue Ribbon for bad IMO. Not saying we won’t ever go back, because I never say never… but we’re definitely taking a break for awhile. Hopefully, it’ll be better next time around.

Was ready to give this place a great review but the wheels quickly fell off. It started ok. Good basic burger and fries. Would prefer a leaf of lettuce instead of shredded. Just too hard to eat. Reasonable prices. We also ordered the fried zucchini. Half the order was globbed together in an under-cooked mass that we ended up prying apart and just eating the bare zucchini. Then was talking and finishing our sodas when I glanced at the bottle in my hand and noticed the expiration date was December 082014.(See picture) More than 6 months out of date. A few days in one thing but 6 months is inexcusable. The place has a lot of potential but just falls short on many levels.

We don’t venture up to Vashon Island as often as I would like, but when we do, Zombiez Burgers will alway be on our way. I love the super relaxed atmosphere. Food is amazing and I love the fresh cut fries. They are a bit spendy, but when I’m in the mood for a good burger, the price won’t get in my way.

Weird name, good food. It’s on Vashon, called Zombiez. A cross between fast food and modern dining. Order procedure, walk up to the counter, order and find a seat. Okay, with that said, this is a place that services bar food, and serves beer. It’s not a bar, it’s definitely a fast food type of location. Fries, deep fried mushrooms, coleslaw are among the things you get alongside burgers, fried chicken tenders and other eats. The plus here, is that their food is cooked well, it’s tasty food, with lots of favor and great local ingredients. The battered mushrooms for example, were huge and tasty, maybe a little too battered for their own good, but cooked well. The minus, while they use great meat, I thought there just wasn’t enough on the burger. I totally understand the ¼ pound patty, but for a burger(bun, vegetables, bacon. which was darn good tasty bacon), I would have loved it see it a 1⁄3 pound instead. I saw pics of the other food served, with more meat inside, and that would be my only complaint, because everything else was great. If you are on Vashon island, and need a drink and food… this is a very find establishment to find yourself in front of good food.

That’s a delicious burger, my friends. They grind the beef, Painted Hills, hormone free, delicious! The breakfast burrito is KILLER. Stuffed with avocado, homemade chorizo and Caribbean hot sauce, it’s hot and huge and awesome. Love their friend chicken strips, too. The pulled pork! Yum. Skip the bun and enjoy the meat and coleslaw on fries. My favorite. Homemade soups, too. Oh and local Full Tilt ice cream! YUM.

Top notch, burgers, fries, shakes, beer! Be sure to try the Ice Cream(unusually flavored) Great staff, you can sit indoors or out. Professionally prepared Semi Gourmet burgers. If I find myself in the neighborhood again, I will be back!

Besides their onion rings, clam strips, buns, and veggie burgers… everything is made in house. Home cut fries had me all excited, but once I started to eat them I noticed they were old and dry. I was very disappointed. Burger was nice, nothing spectacular. Approximately $ 42 for a cheeseburger kids meal, fish & chip basket, a double cheeseburger meal, and two beers. I noticed that there isn’t any fast food restaurants on the island. That is why it’s a great place for a family to come.

For the avid zombie fan this place is what I would consider” zombie light”. They don’t have anything too creepy up. Probably not to scare the kids away and make people question their appetite but the place is still fun and quirky! The staff that work here were very friendly and the service was great! Steve and I were not too terribly hungry so we split a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was good and so we’re the fries! Probably what was most exciting about eating here was the seemingly unlimited amount of sauces they had at your disposal to dip your food in! There were some sauces I was not familiar with like a kind of ketchup sauce with bananas in it from the Philippines. A guy offered I think what was called” The Boss” sauce which they had behind the counter. It had a marvelous heat to it and went very well with the fries! All the sauce options made this place really fun!
