I bought a little brass smokeless from this fellow at Pike Place for my brother who had just passed away. It means a lot to me. People regularly admire it, and if I ever find steady work I plan to buy a few for presents.

The first pipe I ever bought was from this guy at Pike’s Place, in 1992. Good quality and nice design. In the past 14 years (jeeze, has it been that long?) I’ve gone by his table there twice on different visits to Seattle, and once saw him in Eugene at the saturday market. All three times I told him how much I love that pipe and that I still have it to this day. He always thanks me and cuts some free brass screens for me. Still one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
