Adam and the crew at Venice Genoa Tile deserve a gold medal in customer service. Unfortunately, our kitchen counter process was a long and arduous process at no fault to them. We went with a honed black granite on our perimeter counters and a silestone quartz for the island. Adam was extremely helpful in the selection process for both countertops. Install went well until hours after they left, in certain light, there were obvious marks down the center and side of the counter island. After extensive review of the defects it was determined to be a manufacturing defect under the finish of the island, nothing that occurred during fabrication or install. It was not something we were willing to live with as we were paying for a perfect product. Adam stepped up and went over and above what was expected to make it right. On the other hand, I do not have anything good to say about the customer service or product with Silestone. They made the process long and drawn out and were not easy to work with. Adam’s rep with Silestone never did show his face or make contact with us. They finally sent a second slab and to our surprise, it too had marks. Adam had went over it with a fine tooth comb prior to install and called with the news. We discussed many options including new material. After looking at granite, marble, and other brands of quartz, we felt like all other materials would be settling in terms of the look we were going for. What made it more difficult was we needed a jumbo slab to fit the size of our island without having to buy two slabs and have a seam down the middle. Silestone Lagoon was the size and color we needed and we expected them to provide a product with out defect. Silestone never made contact with us as the customer. Finally, I was reading a blog and saw a slab that looked to be similar to the color and size of Silestone Lagoon. To our surprise, LG Viaterra in Cirrus came in the jumbo size we needed and the color was perfect. Adam quickly expedited the order of the slab and it was installed. Shockingly, they got the LG slab on the island and it too, had similar marks under the polish. It has to be something with the manufacturing of quartz, specifically the white shades. Our kitchen is not forgiving either and has many large windows that highlight any defect that may otherwise go unnoticed. Unlike Silestone, LG’s rep contacted us the following day and arranged for a service rep to try and remove the marks using a special process. He was able to remove the marks and we now have a countertop we are pleased with and will add to our house value. We could not imagine using another fabricator with our many future projects down the road. With Venice Genoa, you get small family business type customer service that you will not find from the larger fabricators. They treat you like family and will guarantee you are a happy customer. We paid half our cost as a deposit and he did not even ask for the remaining balance until the entire process was over, which was a ten month ordeal! Talk about patience. He never once acted irritated even when we were picky with the material we finally selected. I should also note that we had our backsplash installed by Venice and the man who did the tiling was so kind and detail oriented. We used a complicated basket weave backsplash in one area that was not easy to install and he did a fabulous job. The guys that did the countertop install were very good and navigated some difficult corners and edges to get it in just right. To Adam and the whole crew at Venice Genoa we thank you for your stellar customer service and professionalism. To those looking for countertop material do not go with a silestone product as their customer service is subpar. LG followed through and provided superior service and follow through. Whatever material you are considering, do contact Adam at Venice Genoa for any of your tiling or countertop remodeling needs. You will not be disappointed. Adam, a million times, thank you for your patience and professionalism on a job that did not turn out to be an easy one. Thank you for following through all the way to the end.

This is the third time that I have used this company to remodel my home. I have used their product in my kitchen and two bathrooms. Their product is high quality, their installation is perfection and their prices for the quality of product is reasonable. I remodeled my kitchen three years ago and the tile looks as fresh and new as the day I installed it. Carol Caporale helped me with the latest project. She was so helpful and had a great sense of what I was trying to accomplish. With her help my bathroom looks like something out of HGTV. I highly recommend this company. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
