I think maybe I judged this place more harshly than was needed. On my previous visit, my attitude may have not been in the proper place to get the full TM experience. Like the man said; Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream. It’s an OK place to look for non-traditional yard art, a 12×2 runner or maybe something to sit on a small table in a hall or corner. I think this is a good place if you only have a general idea of what you seek. In the end, the likes of me probably lacks the aesthetic knowledge to appreciate this store. I think their stuff is kind of spendy but I’m more used to getting yard art from Goodwill and places that have 20,000 Jesus candles on the shelves.

I returned an unused item 2 days after I purchased it. I had the receipt and they put it back on the card that I used for the purchase. It has been a week and it hasn’t credited back onto my account…

Like all Tuesday mornings: hard-to-find location; meager staffing with meager attitudes; decent selection of bedding that seems high-end. It’s like going to Ross and skipping all the clothes. Mostly the prices are better, but mostly they are only slightly better and a crap-shoot on what you will find. Also, strange hours.

I came here looking for one thing very specific: a euro pillow sham. Their selection was slim, I think they had a total of three to choose from. Of course, the one that matched our décor was over thirty dollars. Perhaps you can find some deals in this store, but I have always thought this place was expensive. My check out experience was also weird. The register location is a little odd. I was the only one waiting but I could see some confusion as to where to wait should there be more than one person in line. The person in front of me was taking forever so I took out my phone and was checking my email and texting my husband. Then someone out of nowhere asks if I am with them… um… no? I’m standing here waiting in a line. I know it isn’t clear because you have no designated checkout line waiting area, but they must be used to that by now? Then the computer broke and I had to wait for the previous customer to finish anyway. They need to upgrade their equipment. I can find better deals, more options and better overall service at Marshall’s.

After being rejected from the Tigard Tuesday Morning elsewhere, for consideration for a faulty travel bag, we took it this store, as we were driving by and figured we had nothing to lose. The manager was very considerate and kind, and listened to us, and accepted that even though we did not have the original receipt, she would give us store credit. She was truly a reasonable person. For any other visits to TM, this will be my store of choice, even if I have to drive farther.
