Treat: I love you. Cereal Killer Cookie and jam cookie thing, i love you. You are the best cookie and pastry I have met in a long time. I don’t enjoy Vancouver at all, sorry. But I will keep coming back for your sweet sweet delicious treats. YUMMMMM. Please open in PDX so I don’t have to keep driving to Vancouver. If you haven’t been to Treat and you’re in the area, you’re a fool. Get your buns down there and get some tasty treats!

The quality and craftsmanship of Treat has yet to be matched in Vancouver. It’s outstanding! The prices are very reasonable considering the superior quality of their goodies. Friendly staff, iffy parking because it’s in a fairly busy part of town but worth any trouble to be sure.

Want something decadent? Go no further! This great little gem features small batches of cookies and pastries made right before your eyes. The place is spotless clean and the staff are super friendly and knowledgable about their products. I got a salted chocolate chip, which was dense and flavorful. The salt complements the chocolate very well. I also got the cereal killer, and holy cow was it good! And I also got a frosted sugar cookie. DECADENT. Omg so good! The frosting is obviously made from scratch and has great flavor. There’s a hint of almond essence in the frosting. Not overwhelming, but enough to make the frosting have a savory flavor, not just live as whipped sugar. Very unique. This little gem of a place is great!

They wouldn’t give my daughter any water, even though it was 100oF out. They hardly had any selection, and no cupcakes. The front counter lady was rude and dismissive. They make it hard to shop local when being so snotty. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Love it here. Went for the first time yesterday and got a few different things to try, the cookies are amazing for sure and the coffee cake is also really good, not too swear for a morning treat and goes perfectly with a coffee. They also brew stumptown coffee which is always good. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else

Listen, Couv people… You can’t have EVERYTHING!!! You can’t have Treat be a Krispy Kreme, I’m sorry. Treat is a local, small-batch, delicious bakery, that doesn’t have the capacity or $$$ to make 500 of everything! If anyone complains about this, try crafting and baking all of those items in the«small» display case daily and THEN you can complain about it to me. ;-) Anyways, Treat is AMAZEBALLS!!! It is our local go-to for any baked goods, and we are always amazed at the quality and depth of flavors of their offerings! We always get the homemade Ding Dong(omg!), and their salted chocolate chip cookie is literally the best I’ve ever had(and BELIEVE me, I’ve eaten a LOT of cookies!!!). Give it a shot– they use high quality ingredients to lovingly craft delicious stuff. It’s worth your time, I promise(and I’m picky!!)

I came in around 12pm and they had plenty of dessert choices to pick from. I tried the coconut cake and it was delicious. It’s a small place, no sit-down area, but it was clean. The guy behind the counter patiently answered my questions about each dessert. I’ll be back:)

I couldn’t decide so I got the bacon cheddar biscuit and a marionberry scone… both Devine! Grabbed some tea at the neighboring coffee shop and ate in the enclosed courtyard. Very pleasant breakfast!

No cupcakes, i almost cried. Scones and muffins were good. I liked it, i just was expecting cupcakes, not cookies, scones, and muffins. We had he banana chocolate muffin, marion berry scone, and some weird bar thing. They were all very good, the bar was probably the best.

Best fresh cookies and other treats in Vancouver. If you love chocolate… try the ding dong with chocolate ganache or my favorite the double chocolate cupcake. Both will fix any chocolate craving!!!

I have now tried all the varieties of cookies. Every. Single. Kind. Is. Wunnerful. I like to save my daily ration of fat-grams for beer. This place has the potential to throw that part of my life dangerously out of balance. Our new Saturday trifecta; Woody’s Tacos Treat Walk it off and pretend all those brewpubs I’m seeing aren’t forreals.

I went here around noon excited to try these. Sadly, there were few items available. A scant 4 cupcakes and two cookies. I guess this is what works for some, but to me, a bakery should have more options available.

I fell in love with this charming treat shop. It was full of mouth watering goodness. I loved the cereal cookie naturally. But what I love is the place is simple and everything is made right there till they run out. Way better than mass production! Another ausome perk beside the array of unique treats and lovely smells is stump town coffee on tap! It is nice to have such a unique tasty shop in Vancouver!

Stopped by and had a lot of questions /«what’s in the cereal killer cookie? What’s your best selling cookie? Well the staff was very nice and helpful. I ended up buying a bunch of different things and OMG — amazing! The peanut butter chip cookie is literally the best thing I’ve tasted in a long time. Everything was so fresh and just the perfect cookie all around. I will be going there all the time for cookies! So happy I stumbled upon this great bakery!

The galettes & cookies are amazing. Best quality baked goods downtown and the couve in general. I wish they would use their great baking skills to make bread! There are no good bread bakeries in the couve.

I went to Treat at around 1pm on a weekday and they had a pretty sad looking pastry case — a few cookies and couple of different pastries. I was pretty excited about this bakery because the check-in offer is a free cupcake. I love cupcakes! Well, apparently they don’t make cupcakes«unless you special order them because we want to please our loyal customers.» I don’t know what that means and how do you gain new customers if you don’t allow them to try your product? I was thoroughly confused. But I decided to try a salted chocolate chip cookie and it was out of this world, which is why I gave them 2 stars. I definitly won’t go out of my way to come back.

Should have listened to reviewers about hours. Were they open when I visited? Yes. Did they have cupcakes? No! What’s the use of a store that prides themselves in cupcake making when they don’t have cupcakes made?! To add insult to injury you have to pay for parking in that part of town. So I paid, and had no cupcakes.

Don’t be afraid of the strange cookie flavors. They are amazing. First time I went in there, I didn’t see hoards of sweets like I imagined in my dreams. What I did see looked amazing. I was on a specific mission, get treats for my hubby. They had a range of cookies. When I was told the flavors(I can’t remember any of them right now) I thought that they were all interesting. One had coffee grounds and potato chips. Dear me, it was AWESOME! My thoughts, never judge a cookie by it’s name, and eat them all.(There’s a reason I’m always at the gym.)

Treats? More like treat-less. After eating tacos next door, we needed something sweet. The bakery looked very industrial, but only had small display cases. Unfortunately, they kept the case doors open so flies got into them, we saw them on the cookies and bars. Not good!

This is an update to my last review, which is substantially higher since this time I came back to try their handpies and cookies. Their berry handpie was definitely impressive — whatever recipe they are using for the pie crust, it is right.on.the.money. Amazing flavor and flaky texture. And the berry filling is so tasty as well. Great way to end a summer with their berry handpie! I also ordered their chocolate chewy toffee(?), which was a pretty impressive cookie as well. Just the right amount of chewy toffee to balance the rich chocolate treat. Cupcakes may not be their forte, but everything else is top notch!
