Well, the new location near my house isn’t fabulous, but the coffee is good. They cater and have a cool little moveable coffee trailer. I really like the owners, they are nice. When they were by Goldie’s we went pretty often in the winter(think every day) because we had/have a Christmas Tree Lot there. So we chatted with the owners once in a while and they’re a really nice local couple. If you see the signs for Taga’s it’s worth the stop. Also ask about how the coffee shop got it’s name. It’s a cute story!

I love supporting local and a good cup of coffee!!! I have been going to there new location off 1st Street inside the Village Vendor. And not only do they have great coffee, but they have great sandwiches too!!! Love that small town feel, where they know your name and your coffee drink :)

I’m not very much of a coffee guy, but Tagas delivers well beyond what I was expecting. For one, the coffee is good. Really good. Kind of makes me feel like I’ve been missing out this whole time. And on top of the delicious drinks, the customer service is awesome. Very friendly and respectful and know just what drinks to recommend. This place is a huge step up from the average little coffee shops I used to visit occasionally.

One of the better parking lot drive-thru espresso carts. However, it is a little pricey and slow at times.

Random drive through the back-county and I am coming out onto 4th plain near 162nd, I find a little espresso trailer in the parking lot at Goldie’s. I don’t usually bother with coffee trailers, but I checked it out. This is a nice friendly family business, just got started a couple of weeks ago and planning a grand opening in November. We ended up talking about learning to be a barrista and about running a business. Genuinely nice people, and the coffee was pretty good. I have gotten used to Starbucks and find it one of the most predictable cups of coffee in the world. It tastes the same in Dubai, Paris and Pike Street Market. But it is overly roasted, as a friend calls it Charbucks. A few years ago, I had acquired a taste for Caribou, which is full off coffee flavor but without the bitter burnt aftertaste that stays with you for hours. Taga’s is flavorful, a little stronger roast than Caribou, much less than Starbuck’s, but quite potent on the caffeine(do not mistake bitter for strong) and it definitely tastes better than the canal water I have gotten at other drive-through coffee stands. Somehow, this Americano hit the right spot for me. Went back for a seasonal egg-nog latte and you could still taste the coffee(which can be a problem with the milder roasts). They can put any twist on your coffee, smoothie or pastry you want. I really like this place and plan to come back as often as the distance allows me, but for me anyway, it is worth the extra mileage for a special trip.
