Salon Moxie

Salon Moxie in Vancouver, WA, is a gem of a find. The owner took time with me on the phone after a hair disaster and was able to fit me into Ashley’s schedule for both a cut and color correction. All the stylists in the salon are friendly, helpful, and excellent. After my second appointment with Ashley I had to share what a great place this was and in hindsight I am thrilled that I had a horrific hair issue because it led me to the ladies at Salon Moxie.
I have lived all over the country in major cities and have found excellence in salons in Vancouver, WA at Salon Moxie. A place where they don’t have to try to be great – they are great!

I had a great afternoon at Salon Moxie with Samantha! I’m so grateful she could fit me in for a cut and color… and some lashes too! Samantha did a great job on my hair and was a hoot to hang out with for a couple hours! Cheers to Canadians!

OMG I just left the salon and I am so impressed by Samantha’s cut and color! I have been getting my hair done for 15 years and she has topped them all. I feel like I just got a $ 500 cut and color for a steal price! If you go to Salon Moxie… ASK FOR SAM!

Love, love, love this place. When I was new to Vancouver this was the first place I tried. The stylists are awesome and so friendly. Erica is amazing and so talented. She always listens and gives me exactly what I want. She is always willing to go a little funky if that’s what you like. I also see Tina on a regular basis. Let me tell you, if you have unwanted hair she won’t rest until it’s gone. She uses hard wax for bigger areas and it makes all the difference. If you’re looking for a salon to call home I highly recommend this place! They are full service and always smiling.

Best haircut ever for my very fine and thin hair. Beth is the most awesome stylist ever. Perfect style for me as well. A drastic change but I totally trusted her judgment. Going to wear this style for quite some time. Trying to get up the guts to do some highlights

Everyone probably knows when you find that one stylist who meshes with you it’s hard to come by again. Beth has given me the best cut and color probably ever. She also cuts my hubby’s hair and now he will only let her cut it. I hope to go to her for many years and please don’t ever leave me. ;)

I had an event to go to that came about very suddenly so I within a day needed to find a stylist that could cut and color my hair. I called around to different salons to try and get an appointment that day and salon moxie was one of the few salons that had an available appointment and decent reviews so I went there. Let me just say I am glad I did!
I am the type of person that will try pretty much anything to my hair and am very open to suggestions and I have been searching for a stylist that is willing to tell me what they think I should be doing with my hair and is willing to tell me what won’t look good as well! Before going into salon moxie I had ombré done to my hair and wanted to stick with that but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. Erica was my stylist and she was very open and honest when it came to my hair. She made me feel very comfortable and even made some suggestions of her own on what she thought would look good on me, which I loved!
Let me just say I will definitely be back and to quote my fiancé I feel I have «found my stylist»! She did such an amazing job on my cut. I like my hair long but was sick of it and she magically cut my hair where it feels much healthier without cutting a ton of it off! It feels light and easy to deal with which is major since I have pretty long hair. My color turned out great too! It is definitely more of what I was wanting.
Overall Erica is awesome and I will be going back to her for sure! It was the first time in a long time where I felt like I was a valued customer that she wanted to make happy, not just a client.

I used to love this place but am still suffering the after-​effects. It was my fault for choosing such a drastic color difference but when my hair didn’t turn out normal and looked and still looks damaged I was begging these guys to squeeze me in and help me repair the damage somehow. I was going to a conference and couldn’t be seen with bleach blond hair that was damaged and almost white coming from a previous dark brown color. Granted this was my decision to do this but I could have been warned and/​or helped with a treatment at least. I am still traumatized. I had to go to another salon after to get help with this.

I brought my mom in recently for hair service with one of the owners, Celinda. She was fabulous! For wash, style, and cut, it was competitive and I’ve never seen my mom’s hair look better. Moxie is handicapped accessible, close to metered parking, and the other services like massage, nails, and esthetician are amazing. You really can’t go wrong with any of their services.

I recommend Salon Moxie. I have been getting my hair done here for over a year by Jerica and am very happy how she cuts and styles my hair. Cute salon that is professional and friendly.

I have been known to be a bit of a hair snob and for years I would only go Portland, thinking that is where I could find the most qualified stylists. The drive was a pain and parking was ridiculous but it was all for the love of my hair. That was until I finally decided to take a chance with Jenne. That was five years ago and I couldn’t be happier with her. She has great attention to detail, listens to all of my questions and concerns, and is always current with the latest trends. Salon Moxie is adorable inside, everyone is extremely friendly, and parking is easy. I would highly recommend Jenne at Salon Moxie!

You know when you find a stylist, and they’re so good, you end up following them to whatever salon they go to? Jenne is that stylist for me. I have naturally curly hair, and needless to say, as a Caucasian it’s difficult to find someone who is not only knowledgable about curly hair, but they can make a cut LAST. Over the years, she’s done not only my hair, but my my mother’s (stick straight, fine blond hair) too; if you looked at us post cut and style, you’d think we had to have gone to a different stylist! Her coloring is amazing too. My scalp is sensitive and burns easily, but she works her magic to where that doesn’t happen for me. Jenne is: very professional, knowledgable, great at what she does, personable, knows how to make you smile and relax during your appointment, and can make your cuts and colors look great from week 1 to even week 12 and beyond! I highly recommend Jenne to my friends and family in the Vancouver area.

Salon Moxie is very clean and the staffs there are very nice! Jenne Grogg has been doing my hair for years! Since I was 16 years old! She’s wonderful! I have followed her from her previous salon! Jenne takes her time and listen to what you want! She does amazing up dos too! She traveled to my wedding venue to do my hair for my special day! Her rates are very reasonable! Also she offers free bang trims in between hair cuts! I highly recommend jenne when it comes to Long hair! I have really long hair… All the way to my waist & jenne always does such an amazing job at making straight line cuts, layering or not taking more hair off than I want!

Jerica has been cutting my hair since about March and I trust her with every hair on my head. Salon is super cute and walking distance from my condo so of course I will always return!
