Robert K Burlingame MD PC

I have been on a complicated set of psych meds, some for off label uses, for some time. When I moved to Vancouver, I saw several psych docs & none of them would even look at what I was already on that was working great! Burlingame was very thorough, asked me a million questions to rule out other issues & set me up with what I needed. He was a bit late to start my appointment, and you have to pay to park. No other complaints!

I began seeing Dr. Burlingame after having a session of tramatic events. At first he seemed to be caring and really listened. After many trials of medications I realized that I had to be misdiagnosed as all the medication made me extremely unstable, over drugged and not myself, basically worst. After going off the medication I leveled out but continued to have trouble sleeping and anxiety. He got visibly frustrated and angry with me and told me that I had been sick my entire life. That wasnt true and was very hurtful. When I canceled my next appointment because I didnt want to go back on medication he sent me a letter firing me. I’ve never been fired before and it was aweful but also it was the best thing that ever happened to me! Seriously pick a different doctor.
