We really like this place! The ingredients are high quality and fresh, and you see them grilled up right before they’re stuffed inside your pita. I love Lebanese food and they do a great job with the seasoned lamb and garlic hummus. I would recommend they add kibbeh, tabouli, and cabbage roll stuffing to go to the next level. As for non-Mediterranean food, I really liked the chicken club with bacon(you may need to request it crispy), cheese, tomato, and ranch. It’s a little more than Subway and other similar sandwich places, but you will know where that money went(and be happy about it) after biting into your pita pit!

Good service is something that Pita Pit gets right, the workers are always happy to chat and do their best to load up my Pita with veggies when I eat here which I appreciate greatly. I also like that it is connected to a Frozen Yogurt shop so a perfect date night ending in one stop.

Pretty good food here, I just wouldn’t come here without a coupon in hand.

Just as an update to my previous review, the dreaded slime-moldy soda machine has been replaced with one of the new(ish) Coke Freestyle touch-screen soda fountains. Hopefully that will be the end of the occasional bonus black sludge deposit in our soft drinks!

Great place if you are looking for a quick and healthy bite. I’m so grateful they are right next to the gym. I’m currently infatuated with their spicy black bean pita sandwich, on whole wheat with the humans and avocado…

Do NOT get a «smoothie» at Pita pit. I wanted a smoothie for lunch and unfortunately there is no Jamba juice around. found online on the menu that Pita pit has smoothies made with«fruit, yoghurt and juice». that is what the online menu says. When I went there, ended up paying $ 4 for a drink made with 2 tablespoons of fruit, 3 tablespoons of frozen yoghurt soft serve ice cream ¼ cup of orange juice and a whole bunch of ice. The cup was filled with ice before she blended it AND she put too much ice in, so there was alot of drink left over that didn’t make it into my glass. so for $ 4 i probably got less than a ¼ cup of fruit plus juice and a spoo nful of ice cream and a lot of ice. They shouldn’t call it a smoothie at all.

This is a chain restaurant that is similar to a Subway — you pick a type of pita like gyro or chicken(usually based around the meat that goes inside) and then you can can ask them to put anything from their salad-bar like selection inside it, like filling a big pita pouch. I believe they also offer breakfast options all day. I find it nicer than Subway because they heat up your meat on a real grill which adds extra flavour. Everyone that works there has always been extra friendly so it has a nice vibe. A few times I have gotten the same thing and gotten significantly(25%) more or less filings, but that’s the ups and downs of handmade food. Inside the restaurant they have an open door that connects to the frozen yogurt place next door, although payment for the two shops is separate.

UPDATE: 3.0 star rating changed from 5. Update — 5÷8÷2012 I did contact corporate over the ingredients in the gyros meat. It seems there is some binder that spikes blood sugar in both my sister and my husband who are diabetics. This is why they lost stars. I never had any follow-up from the company or note of concern. I never did hear if their meats are flash frozen or fake, so beware, consumers. You just may be eating fake meat. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Great HEALTHY fast food for lunch. This is still a relatively new location, so for a special order they did make a mistake, but they gave me a free drink and ice cream coupon. The staff is friendly, polite, and it is worthwhile parking and going in. You can find a lunch for under 300 calories.

The pitas are tasty and light. Good service though it can be a bit hectic during rush times.

I’ve been here many, many times and have ALWAYS had a good experience. They have great food and the staff is super friendly. I love that they have hummus, advacado, sprouts, feta… and tzatziki! I could have lunch here everyday!
