This was my family’s second time trying this place. The first experience wasn’t great but we thought it was a fluke… it wasnt. Both times we went to the Friday evening buffet. The pizza was hard and cold, the fried chicken dry, the mac and cheese cold and the salad bar mediocre. Their lettuce was«cut» in huge chunks where it looked like someone just tore apart a head of lettuce with their hands with a bag of precut lettuce. The taco meat had a funky taste that it wouldnt surprise me if it was from 2 days ago. Everyone from our 3 year old on up were very disappointed and left hungry. You know it’s bad when a 3 year old won’t touch cheese pizza and spits it out. The price point is good for the options, it’s just too bad the quality of ingredients and care put into the food is not there. We will not be back again.

We were looking for a place to eat last weekend(it was like 930pm). We stumpled on this place. Walking in, we realized that it was run down flashback from the 80’s(possibly nothing new since then). Looks aren’t everything and some of the tastiest meals come out of dive bars. We went to the counter and I asked the guy what he recommended. He cracked a joke about why we hadn’t been there and I let him know we were newer to the area. He perked right up and said he would say the everything pizza would be the best. We went with it and also ordered a beer and soda. Seems the soda machine needs to be cleaned or recalaberated because the spritr didn’t taste normal. As we walked away I heard the guy tell the cook to make it good because we were first time customers. We waited about 15 min and when the pizza came out it was huge. Tons of toppings not overly sauced and cheese sprinkled on top. The pizza had a thin-med thickness crust, not soggy and tasty. We also found out that they deliver. We will deffinitly be back(or most likely order in). The only tip I would give is, close up shop for 1 day, get a cleaning crew in there and then give it a little bit of a face lift, new paint on the walls, less clutter around fix some of the run down furniture.

Pied Piper has some of the best Pizza in town. Very high quality meat and all around pizza. Service is friendly, but the Pizza takes a while to make. Though, that is quite alright, as it is made deliciously. Now, this isn’t the most amazing, wood-fired, organic Pizza that you’re going to find somewhere downtown Portland, but it’s delicious. It’s a hole in the wall of a location, and rough around the edges, but a great Pizza that is stacked with meat. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Pied Piper Pizza. The triple P is a great little stop to make if you have the time, and I recommend it often. TL;DR: A decent location with some great Pizza.

First time tonight. Had the sour craut and sausage. Sounds bad. Tastes incredible. Found out this was a response to all the hipster pizza combo’s. They wanted to «make a pizza their mom would like». The room is decorated in timeless moments and sincere Seattle Sea Hawks honor. I especially enjoyed seeing the giant«see Dick and Jane» book pages hanging from the ceiling. We will definitely be going back. Had the salad bar also. Good combining of salad favorites. Lots of dressings and toppings. Dart boards and big screen TV available if you finish checking out all the memorabilia on the walls.

THISPLACEBLOWS. There’s a reason the parking lot is always empty and the only people that go there are smokers who can’t taste anything or the elderly that don’t know any better. The pizzas are a notch above a frozen Totino’s pizza, prices are ridiculously high and the customer service here is guilty-till-proven-innocent/prison like. Save your $ 30+ and go to Juliano’s on mill plain or just get delivery. Reading these other reviews that say«it’s your place»… my god…. . also, don’t let the Seahawk décor near the cash register fool you. If you go there to watch the game they’ll host a dart tournament for Vancouver’s retirement community right in front of you. I have to give Pied Piper credit for longevity though. They’ve been around since I was a little kid, it’s just now I know why we never went there.

This pizza parlor has the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The buffet was excellent and service was great. I think i’ve found my new favorite place for pizza.

So glad to have found my new Pizza Parlor! I just moved from Seattle and pizza is a staple meal in my house. The delivery was quicker than the estimated time. The pie was delicious, made to order, and had generous toppings. I think I got a great value for my dollar.

This place my oh my its been around forever and they have yet to remodel at least thats what It looks like. The tables in the rooms you can rent are warn dirty and cheep, same with the chars. It would not be the hard to update this place to get it looking real nice. Hopfully they do the food it good and different from a every day pizza place.

Had a party of 6. Food was pretty bland. It looked like the food was sitting out for a while, and the place was not very clean. It was pretty dusty and things were very outdated. There was an ice cream machine that spat out the cream rather than it being solidified. I’m sure the place has been around for a while and there are people who love going there but I don’t think I would really recommend it.

This place is your old school neighborhood pizza place. Good pizza. Not always the cleanest place around.

Probably one of the best pizza joins I’ve tried. The place has that old 80’s pizza joint feel… Equipped with old 80s digital dart boards and an arcade full of games I hadn’t seen since I was a kid. The pizza, IMHO, is pretty fantastic! Service isn’t great, but you can tell it’s family owned and operated.

Not impressed. The food was cold and hard. The owner was extremely disrespectful to their guest and showed no interest in providing good or even decent customer service. The soda fountains didn’t work, and the bathroom stunk like urine. I will never go back there while this guy owns the place! Terrible experience, and that was a month ago!

Simply creepy, stinky carpeting and sooooo dirty! I am afraid to see what the kitchen looks like. Also, stay out of the coffee place, Charm Latte in the same parking lot, it’s equally as disgusting.

This place could have so much potential. There’s nothing quite like it in that part of town — they just need to find a way to reinvest in the business. I almost gave this a one-star review, but I know there are other community things this business is involved in, so I just couldn’t do that. I’ve been here twice and here is my honest take. Positive: The place is huge. There are various meeting rooms that most people don’t even know about. This is on top of the very large dining room too. There is a game room and ample parking. They sponsor a lot of youth sports teams, host a lot of senior groups, and probably others I don’t know about. The pizza is no better than just about anywhere. Which brings me to… Negative: The place is totally run down to the point of seeming unsanitary. There has been very little up-keep and there is dust and crumbs everywhere. The restrooms need a lot of work just like everything else. The place must be at least 30 years old and nothing’s been replaced. Ever. The paint around the place is done hastily by hand resulting in poor coverage and brush marks. The TV’s are old. You can’t watch a game on them because of how bad the picture is and how far away you are from them. The counter is in an awkward spot, it’s tiny, and there’s no menu or indication of how much things cost save for the little paper menus they give you at the counter while they stare at you trying to figure out what is what while everyone else in line behind you burns holes in your back. The staff(with the exception of one elderly gentleman who might be the owner) are not personable at all. They don’t even seem to know their menu, the drink prices are hard to find, and they don’t tell you that their beers come in two sizes(as an example… I mean, why give me a small one when you have a big one available for me to pay more for? Just tell me!). Oh, and why keep the tap handles around the back of the soda machine where it’s hard for customers to see them? Profit is literally hidden here. The food — I’ll just start with the pizza. I don’t know if the dough is frozen or if they make it there, but it is not real tasty — just a soft place to put toppings. Don’t even think about asking for gluten free… but I digress — back to the toppings! I’ll bet anything that the sauce comes from a can, furthermore, I know that a lot of the toppings are pre-packaged or canned(to wit, mushrooms and olives). And, just to throw it out there, I bet anything — yet again — that the meat and cheese toppings are frozen. There is almost no flavor to the sausage or pepperoni. The cheese was the greasiest mess I’ve seen since 1994 Little Caesars, and everything was just bland as can be. In an era where places are making better pizza(more old-world style), you can’t just wing it like the ’80’s anymore. I would take a slice of Costco’s or Winco’s cheapest pizza over this because of price point. Yes, grocery store pizza cooked en masse is preferable. The prices would be fine if the experience and quality were there. When people are sitting on coupons for Papa Murphy’s, they aren’t going to go here with the way it is. But I’m not done! The Salad/Pizza/Taco/Desert/Wings buffet is supposed to be a differentiator here. Oh my, there was nothing there that I felt was worth the money or health risk. The whole thing looks old, dirty, and stale. The lettuce was wilted iceberg based and the wings were obviously re-fried pre-packaged frozen fare. Don’t even get me started on the strange watery pasta salads and potato stuff. I took one look at the taco meat and beans and turned away. Frankly, I bet strip clubs have better taco bars than this. Bottom Line Food is not special, and even though it seems like it would make you sick, we survived and they haven’t been shut down. The whole thing is outdated and in disrepair. You can’t kick back and watch the game, but you could let your kids go to the old game room by the bathrooms where no parents can keep an eye on them(yikes). Avoid the salad bar — only eat things that have been thoroughly cooked from this place and not sitting out under old weak heat lamps for 3 hours. If the right person came in and overhauled this place, it could be AMAZING. If I had money, I might be that person. Oh well.

Been coming to Pied Piper ever since it was«Pizza Palace» 30 + years ago. The pizza is still pretty much like it was back then with several pizzas that were on the original Palace menu. «The Works» is my favorite and I order it every time I visit. Pretty decent buffet. If you like your pizza ‘old school’ give PP a try!

We love this place and had a blast! Game room, huge delicious pizzas, amazing toppings, and the thin crust was pure crisp perfection. This place has changed hands a few times over the past thirty years(that the Hubz has been coming here) and it’s not QUITE as awesome as it was back in the 80’s(he says) but this is the only pizza joint in either of our cell phones, and it’s clear across town, and at least as pricey as Round Table or Godfathers… but way better. The toppings fill the pie, the cheese is layered on nice and heavy, the sauce is sweet and spicy without being sugary or over-seasoned. We usually get our pie take-out, but it’s also fun to hang out and play some games or people-watch. They’re very kid-friendly, always clean, and the staff are pretty good. Try the dessert pizzas!

My World Tour of Buffets … rolls on … Chatting with a friend of mine, he advised me Pied Piper Pizza had a pizza buffet not only for lunch — but dinner too! I must admit, even having lived here in The ‘Couve for over 25 years, I’d never been in. I finally did something about it. Here’s the scoop: Highlights: Quite a few offerings. A good selection of pizzas, hoagies, a taco bar, and the typical salad offerings. Much broader than say Round Table’s. S’mores pizza? Yep and it was actually good. Kind of a funky ‘80s pizza parlor feel. Ah, nostalgia is a seductress. Lowlights: We got there at 1:30PM(lunch buffet was ’til 2PM). No one there. By my reckoning, none of the pizzas out had been cooked within an hour. Some were warm, most cool. This observation — of course — eroded any desire to try anything from the taco bar or had even a remote chance of being a carrier of food born illness. The potato wedges — stone cold. Also, we were served styrofoam plates? Weird. Bottom Line: Has some potential(the pizzas looked like they had good toppings and an interesting crust) but a cold buffet is a non-starter. Perhaps at Noon it would have been killer. At 1:30PM, it was an early exit.
