I went here on a Friday night when it was busy. There was a 45 minute wait for a table of 2 so we went to walk around the mall for a little. We were very hungry so we decided to go try to find a seat at the bar instead. We found two seats at the bar top so we decided to eat there. It was very busy so I understand that it may take longer than usual, but every one around us was getting their order taken and we were ignored. It took about 10 minutes to get waters and another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. I asked both bartenders if we could order food and they said they would come back in a minute… Yet it was about 10 minutes later. I believe that because we were the youngest couple there is why we were getting ignored. We have been to Outback many times and have never been treated with disrespect like this last time. I don’t expect the food to be that great since it is Outback but usually the service is ok.

Don’t go here. I went with the wife. We waited over 15 minutes and nobody showed up to our table at all. So we left. They also charge you to play«games» on a little digital screen. Seems like a penny pinching maneuver. Regardless, these guys don’t want your business.

This is not the review I would ever guess I would write about an Outback. The salad and the broccoli were the best parts of our dinner. We’ve been going to Outbacks across the country for years. We’ve always experienced the good steak and seafood that the prices suggest we would get. Not at this visit. The service was slow, but I noticed our server seemed to have more than ten tables, so not her fault. Never got drink refills offered, now that I think of it. The food was not well-prepared(except for the salad and broccoli). The fish, lobster, and steak were all overcooked. Seriously overcooked. I think they probably started out as good pieces of fish/seafood/steak, but things went downhill fast in the kitchen somehow. Also, the brown bread was cold. We ordered cheese fries and they were dripping in grease(ok I ordered cheese fries and I understand it’s a greasy food but these were super greasy and limp and sad). Again, the salad and broccoli were excellent. I did let the server know that things were wrong with our food and the manager adjusted our ticket appropriately. I do not feel so confident about this spot for steak and seafood. Would probably return though for drinks and salad.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner once and the only thing good that we got were the drinks from the Bar. I was craving lobster and the one in the photo looked awesome plus it came with steak… well the lobster should have been the one exactly like the photo because the tail I received wasn’t even a quarter of a full lobster tail and the steak was roughly 2 bites. That for $ 30? Nope, I knew I should have went to red lobster across the street

Went to outback steakhouse on wednesday it was my birthday. The service was horrible! I asked if there was any deals and she showed us another menu for seafood and steak deal. After i got home i noticed an ad for a Wednesday deal for 3 course meal. We were never offered that deal and it was Wednesday when we ate there. We both ordered the ribeye steak and salad with a potato that was loaded with cheese ect. The steak was small, cheap, full of grit and fat and hard to chew. The potato had barley any cheese and toppings and we paid extra for the topping. The salad was not bad but they are skimpy with the dressing. The bread thats supposed to come out before food came out a couple seconds before our food did. That was probably the best part of the meal. The server was not busy being it was Wednesday night but she took 15 – 20 min to take our order and no bread either. After we were done eating we had to wait another 15 – 20 min to get our check. We both ordered a mixed drink in a mason jar. The drink tasted as if it had no alcohol in it. Our bill was 80 $ for cheap food, weak drinks and horrible service. Should have gone somewhere else!

I came here twice before writing this review. Both times i had dealbreakers. the first time the blooming onion was literally soaked in oil, and my baked potato was chewy dry. the second time they outdid themselves. my steak tasted like seasoned burnt match-heads. There has been absolutely no consistency here.

I only come here when they have unlimited shrimp, because it’s bloody unlimited shrimp, son. Other than that, this place is pretty meh. They cook a decent steak, and have pretty delicious fries, but everything else is petty darn average. I don’t come here often, like I said usually only for unlimited shrimp, but it’s a decent place to come when in the area. It’s also somewhere I like to go when somebody else is paying. So ladies, when you can, take your men here. Unless your man don’t pay, than stop dating him. TL;DR: Out of all places I’ve eaten, this is definitely one of them.

We have some favorite steakhouses across the country. Most of them would be competitors to the Outback Steakhouses — similar price, similar steaks. It had been sometime since we had visited an Outback so it was definitely time to try the location at the Vancouver Mall. There were four of us. The hostess was friendly and we were seated fairly fast. It was a Monday night and no waiting as the restaurant definitely wasn’t packed. Even our server was timely arriving at our table with taking our drink orders and the order for our appetizer. The restaurant was quite chilly. We had to run out to the car to get our jackets. Our dinner salads were served before our appetizer was even half gone. That you might expect in a diner but in a restaurant such as Outback, servers usually are a little better with timing and wait for one course to be completed before another starts. So, two of us continued eating the appetizer and the other two started their dinner salads. A 10oz sirloin steak dinner was one order. We were all surprised at the steak. The steak was very good and cooked perfect. However, it looked like a «thin» cut steak you’d buy at the grocery. Or, maybe one you’d expect from a Denny’s but definitely not a nice steakhouse. We were very surprised at that. Another steak ordered was the bone-in rib eye steak. The steak was served very rare instead of medium rare and needed to be cooked a little more. By the time it was returned to the table, two people had already finished their meals. The steak was probably now cooked between a medium and medium rare. It was good but since areas of it was slightly over-cooked now, not super delicious either. Server didn’t offer to refill glasses. Overall, the food was good but nothing we would say was great. Service was so-so. Neither the food or the service were what we felt they should be for the price of the meal.

Service was not that great. Our steaks were tough and extremely dried out. Everything was like it had been cooked for hours and reheated in microwave. Even the bread seemed like it had been heated hours ago, it was dried out and barely warm when served to us. Baked potatoes were dry and look like they had been reheated mulitple times. We were very dissaponted and will not go back.

Tada! no you don’t wait for refills on drinks, this wait staff is a finely tuned machine of service. they seem to help each other constantly which was really surprising for a modern steak house. I had steak and bottomless shrimp which I also didn’t have to wait for. had an appetizer per my boyfriends suggestions. onion flower looking thing deep fried. great dipping sauce and without alcoholic beverages tab came to 62 bones. was it worth it. I would say yes. it’s alot of food. bread and creamed butter served through out the meal. the bread tasted Better than I expected. the shrimp was smallish but the quality was there. fresh and tasty. I suggest getting a mindset for a buffet. maybe one should skip lunch before going. oh and there is a steak cooking chart that is super helpful to avoid choosing a type of steak finished incorrectly. we didn’t have room for dessert. but we left with leftovers feeling totally satisfied. thank goodness the mall is attached. we needed to walk a while after this feast… THESTEAK .WAS sublime. six ounces of total Ah.

Service was great. Food. was not. It was SOSALTY! Ugh. I won’t be going back. It was so expensive and wasn’t impressive at all. I spent most of our dinner planning the dinners we’re going to make ourselves the next few days because they will be so much better than the anything we got there.

I want to give it a 4 stars during our first visit. For our 2nd visit I want to give them 2 stars. Food was great! Server was kind of rude. After ordering our appetizer, she didn’t even bother to come back to ask us for our main entrée. She walked passed us several times and didn’t even bother to ask if we are ready to order. My husband had to get her attention, and when my husband told her we are ready to order, she looked at us surprised. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Meh, okay food, better service however. Expensive for the type of restaurant and food you get. Won’t be going back.

Went to an Outback Steak House in Orlando, FL, last summer. Tasteless food. Saw this one in Vancouver Mall, WA, decided to give the chain another chance. What a difference! Coconut shrimps($ 9.99) for eight big prawns, puffy and deep fried just right. I could have just this appetizer(or 2, but don’t think I could finish both) for dinner. 22 oz rib eye steak($ 29.99) with two sides is enough to share. Cooked just right, and tasty. Baby back ribs so tender the meat fell off the bones. Great dinner. Renew my confidence in an Outback in our city. Got to try that again.

I had grilled chicken with broccoli and it was great. My daughter had the parmesan chicken and it was delicious. My son’s fish and chips was great. My husband’s ribs were ok but the mashed potatoes were gross. Over all a good experience. I wouldn’t wait for an hour to eat here tho.

In 2006, I had a meal here and it was so memorable I still compare it to other meals, this is 2014! Sat 12⁄14 we went in, asked for medium rare prime rib but chose the option on the menu for a finish on the grill. Apparently the chef(s) did not anticipate continued cooking on that grill, and what both myself and my father received was a medium prime rib. It was still alright, but definitely not memorable and actually in our minds to be critical about. Outback did not, in our experience, used to be questionable on the beef presented. I also ordered a cadillac margherita, and in other establishments this includes a shot on the side to be added at the table. I did not receive anything extra to the mason jar glass. My father and I will probably not revisit this Vancouver Mall location based on the product we received at table. It was not that wait staff’s fault in any way. Dissapointed that I don’t quite know where quality lies anymore though.

Some times a business meeting can be something to be worried or nervous about, but with endless shrimp! There are no worries! Three plates deep already and the waitresses are discussing which one is going to come an ask if I still want more. The salad was decent, a tad big for a side salad but it all made sense when my 8 oz steak showed up. With out the endless shrimp I don’t know if I would recommend the steak and shrimp. Over all good deal for a good meal Good day mate !

They brought the wrong food twice. The unhappy hour menu had multiple items crossed off. Horrid. The waitress was good and knowledgeable of the menu and the beer was ice cool. They have a lot of ads on the radio about happy hour. Pure bs Update. Up to four wrong orders delivered.
