Nice Nails & Spa

I recently came into get a mani-​pedi, and a facial wax. They were quick to accommodate me, as I just walked in with out an appointment. The owners and staff were very kind, and were quick to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. They have many chairs, all of which are massage chairs (so delish). I was very pleased over all with the service, the time it took to get in and out, and their prices are very reasonable. I will go back to this business for sure!

Ive been in 4 times now over the last few weeks since just around Thanksgiving or so, which was shortly after their Grand Opening, I think. The salon is average sized, in the shopping center near Winco where it used to be Bowyers Par # Golf Course (if you grew up here like I did, this should make you laugh just a little). The atmosphere is casual, and very relaxed. Soft music plays, and there are chinese style lanterns hanging from the ceiling which is painted black and really sets off the bright colors of the fabric the lanterns are made of, making them appear to be actually floating above you. There are some wood slats covering portions of the walls in a pattern and it fits the feel of the place very well. Its comfortable, and thats one of the things I liked about it immediately… I didnt feel out-​of-​place at all, or like I was intruding on anyones personal time.
My first time in was with Jay and he really seemed to listen to the way I prefer my nails to look and even asked questions to clarify rather than just giving me lip service and saying «ok», but not really hearing what I wanted.
Came back about three weeks later (I think. The Holidays were very busy for me this year.) and I was pleased to see he was there and that he remembered me and my preferences. His nephew was hanging around on this evening and I was chatting with the little guy a bit… figured out he is a Star Wars fan, so we had a blast talking while Jay finished up my nails. The kid was polite, and friendly… not a nuisance, or annoying in any way, shape or form (as sometimes happens when people have their kids at work so often the kid doesnt realize its a business and thinks they rule the place… thats never fun).
The next visit I came in last minute before flying out to Vegas for NYE the next morning. Jay wasnt there but his brother was, and the boy was here that night, too. I explained my preferences to him and he did a pretty good job of what I wanted, but it wasnt quite as perfect as Jay had done for me (I will probably give the brother another chance, if it occurs again that Jay is unavailable to me at some time in the future).
Was there this week and once again Jay finished everything exactly as I like them. I am officially a fan, and will continue coming to Jay (and his family) for the foreseeable future. Their pricing is very fair for the quality of what they do. They offer all the average services performed in any of the salons around town (waxing, mani/​pedi, deluxe versions of the mani and/​or pedi, etc). And there are some child sized chairs, also, in case your little diva wants to enjoy a «lighter» version of the pampering Mom/​Dad is getting.
