Lux Tan

I LOVED this place! After trying almost every place in town I have finally found somewhere I feel confident I will continue to love. The salon is super chic and cute! And the customer service is far beyond what I expected… so glad I came across this place after I think they got new management.

I love love love Lux tan. I’ve been going there for years and was so excited when they told me they were expanding to Vancouver. I often have to travel between Tigard and Vancouver because my boyfriend lives there so having another tan option is amazing. Especially living in PDX with all the rain.
I’ve used just about every bed they have to offer and they are all great. My favorite is the high pressure bed; it’s well worth the extra money and gives you a deep tan that lasts longer. Their mystic tan is also great if you want to do a ‘cocktail’ before a special event. Probably going to do that for New Years :)
Every time I walk in I’m always greeted and feel welcomed, I’m never pushed about buying lotions or tans, the beds are always cleaned, and I’ve noticed they often change their lights so you know you’re getting a good tan.
Honestly I’ve never had anything but a good experience tanning with them and really won’t go anywhere else now. I’ve tried multiple other places throughout the years and this is the only place that I will go to. If you’re looking for a new place to tan check them out! They really turn tanning into a luxury ;)

I was in the Vancouver area visiting family and needed to find a nice tanning salon to do a high pressure bed and spray tan. I had been to one of Lux Tan’s other locations before so I decided to try their Vancouver salon… What a great experience!
Their salon was clean, the beds were clean with new bulbs (so I got awesome color after one session), my spray tan turned out great with no streaks and natural looking color, and on top of that the staff and store owner were so welcoming and friendly to me!
They educated me about some new products to help me prolong the life of my tan and made sure I was completely taken care of without pressuring me to buy things I didn’t need or being too salesy. Since I’m an out of towner but visit the NW every few months, the owner even created a custom package just for me so that I could save money and get a better deal to tan.
I wish there was a tanning salon chain like Lux where I live in Miami! Will definitely be back on my next trip to the PDX /​Vancouver area.

After leaving my review, instead of the owner asking what he could do better, he left me a threatening voicemail saying I need to delete my review or else I’m not allowed to come back.
Needless to say I have found another salon. I wouldn’t feel safe tanning there if I had a confrontation with the owner inside the store.

Great place to tan. The staff is very friendly, the shop is always super clean. Great beds, you can tell they maintain their equipment. Highly recommend this place.

I went into Lux Tan today to check out the spray tan and prices. I love the Mystic Booth they have and my color turned out great!!!
The gentlemen that sold me my package was not pushy and was very helpful. Great prices and huge selection of products. I feel very welcomed and taken care of when I go into Lux Tan! So happy they are here now! :)
