We stopped by this Goodwill on the way out of town from Portland, so it’s not as central as some of their other locations. Unless you’ve got a car and are doing a massive thrifting day, this one may not be worth going out of your way for. The store is fairly large, but unlike some others we visited, it was kind of messy and disorganized, with stuff on the floor and messy-looking shelves. Goodwill carries quite a bit of Target clearance/salvage items, and this store in particular seemed to have a lot of clothing and accessories that were brand-new and donated by Target, including items from their designer collaborations! So that’s worth checking out if you’re into those limited edition lines. The furniture area feels like an afterthought, jammed into a corner between other stuff and almost too cramped to walk through. Prices seemed a bit higher than comparable items at other Goodwill stores — not crazy, but $ 1 – 2 more than you’d normally pay. They do have the colored tag discounts, but it was hard to actually find any items with the discounted sale tag on the racks. Not my favorite Goodwill or thrift store in Portland… I’m not sure I would even bother going back to this one when there are so many others!

I like Goodwill Stores, but NOT this one. I should add that 90% of my business is in the form of buying books and sometimes music and oddball household items I need. I tend to visit several stores around the area to check out their books to try and find some good ones, but this stores sucks so poorly in that regards it is hard to believe it is even the same company as it’s sister stores. Before I discuss the issues I have, let me say I have brought it to the attention of some of the employees, only to be greeted with a friendly smile and an an attitude that basically says«Yeah, whatever. Not my problem…» But the issue is that unlike every other Goodwill Store on the planet, their books really are not arranged in any semblance of order. Now the shelves have stickers on them that say things like ‘Religion, History, Fiction, etc,’ the reality is they just throw the books on the shelf and forget about them. It appears this section is not even straighten up at all. The ONLY order I can see is they do tend to throw books of the same size on the same shelf. This is the norm for this location, NOT the exception.

I have been to almost every Goodwill in the area. This one by far is completely out of touch with reality when it comes to their pricing. I’ve noticed this many times. But last night was my final trip there. Items from Target clearance always have the prices jacked up from what Target couldn’t sell them for. One of the most ridiculous examples of their pricing is a white van scam set of speakers for $ 999.99! Those aren’t worth the price of the box they are sold in. All others I have been to, have not had a problem matching that of different stores, as long as you don’t want to make a return. This one however will not.

We recently moved to Vancouver and saw this Goodwill after stopping at Sparky’s Pizza just across the parking lot. We browsed to see what they had and I ended up only buying a few baskets. I’ll probably stop in occasionally to see if they get any new inventory. I didn’t check out their clothing section much but their clothing section is massive(most of the store), and I did find a scarf at a good price.

This little Goodwill is pretty snazzy. I always come in here to find things for myself and i’m always finding name brands and cool unique pieces to add to my wardrobe. Finding fabric here is pretty sweet too, they have a good selection. The staff are pretty friendly(with the exception of one manager who was pretty cranky — off day maybe?) and I always see the same folks working there. They’re pretty helpful even if they’re busy. The only thing I would be a nitpick on is the prices — I know they’re trying to make a profit but its hard to find good prices when one item is $ 3 and something similar is $ 10. Just keep an eye out on the tags.

This little Goodwill is my favorite and not just because I live within walking distance. I buy most of my clothing here. Since it’s located by some nice neighborhoods, you can find really quality stuff on the cheap. I always save even more by only buying the items that are half off that day. I barely ever leave empty handed!

Found three awesome cardigans here and also a fancy, flouncy skirt that I might wear but only cost $ 3.00 so who cares if I ever do? Dressing rooms are clean and large which I love. The staff was polite and helpful. I will likely visit this establishment frequently now that I have tried it.

Very good goodwill! I found so much last time I went there. I will definitely be back to this clean and organized store.

Organized, clean, right by the hospital, efficient staff. I drooled at the reasonably priced vintage phone and typewriter as would-be perfect additions to my 1940’s apartment.(Sadly, they wont fit in my suitcase.) And wow wow wow neatly categorized books!
