Espresso Resource NW

I wish all service providers were this good (and I haven’t even done business with him yet). He consistently responded promptly; worked with me to diagnose the problem with our Saeco Vienna Superautomatica; gave me the likely elements of a repair (and prices); and presented a cost-​competitive refurbished alternative – including pros and cons – to include in the hopper for my consideration. I’m investigating new machines now, but I’ll have Darrin’s information handy as worthy alternatives, and I’d strongly recommend him to others.

Sent an email to ERNW about my malfunctioning machine. Got a call about 15 minutes later. Don’t know who I talked to but he helped me repair my old SAECO over the phone. He was very patient and thorough. Service like we think it used to be! Still alive and well at ERNW.

Once again, Darrin saved the day on my favorite Saeco Italia Machine. This time it was more major with couple broken gears, some leakage, and tired motor. He completely overhauled my life support system, but not before professionally assessing and giving a quote and receiving authorization to proceed. He performed the work in a timely manner the same day and went above and beyond in cleaning and tightening various fittings and lengthening hose so the door opened properly for tray removal. He is professional and detail oriented, as well as fair and comprehensive. I would highly recommended his services.

Darrin knows his stuff. Several years ago when this espresso machine needed repairs I had to send off to Seattle for parts, then wait two weeks. This time around I found Darrin. He fixed the machine promptly and didn’t keep the machine one minute longer than needed. I’ll be sipping espresso tomorrow, reunited with my Delonghi. Would recommend Espresso Resource NW to all.

Had my Delonghi repaired after my three year old jammed a spoon in the infuser. Service was fast and it works great. Would definitely recommend his service when you run into trouble with your machine.

We were really happy with the service and cost of the repair to our Saeco Via Venezia. We took our machine out on a Sunday (don’t know if he always opens on Sunday) and he fixed the machine while we waited! He replaced a brew switch, the pump, brew head gasket, cleaned it in less than an hour and charged a very reasonable price – far less than buying a new machine. Thanks Darrin!

Darrin of Espresso Resource NW brought our treasured Rancilio Miss Silvia back to good health. He went out of his way to help us get the machine to him, did a fast diagnosis and communicated well about the timing of the repairs. It’s great to not have to contribute Miss Silvia to the landfill! We are back to happily using our espresso maker several times a day. We recommend Espresso Resource very highly.

Darrin and Espresso Resource NW are wonderful!!! We have a Gaggia Titanium that I don’t even know how many tens of thousands of coffees it has made. I know we have had it since 2005. Anyway about a month ago it stopped grinding and my husband thought we had finally used it up.
Today, out of sure chance I called and got Darrin on the first ring, I asked him for a quote to send up my machine and if it was worth it. He volunteered to try to guide me though fixing it on own so I wouldn’t have to ship it. After 15 minutes of his expert guidance, it was fixed. He even told me how many times to run the coffee through to get the best cup, helped alter my settings, and test the consistency of the grounds. He is amazing and it didn’t cost me a cent, which I feel a bit guilty about.
My husband just got an early fathers day gift because his beloved espresso machine is not back up and running.

I have a DeLonghi Magnifica that I bought in 2007 when I worked at Starbucks, and to say I overuse it is an understatement. Last year after 6 years of hard use it finally stopped working, and after a lot of searching I found Darrin. He fixed the problem and did a tune-​up, and it was working like new. Sadly, this week it blew a seal in the water pump — as I mentioned, this poor thing has a hard tour of duty. Darrin not only fixed the problem, he offered a less expensive solution that will have a better long term result. I’m with Erika D. — I’d give him ten stars if it was an option. Fast, friendly, professional communications and service. This place is great.

I’d forgotten how well my Gaggia had run when it was new, but now that’s it’s been given the once over after seven plus years of dutiful service, I’m very impressed with the work everyone at Espresso Resource did for me. I timed it with a vacation so I would be without my beloved for as little time as possible. I shipped it out on a Friday and found it on my doorstep on Wednesday, a week and a half later. Out of the box it fired right up and had none of the issues it went in with. Even though there is a place 30 minutes from my house, I was concerned with some reviews on Unilocal and very happy I spent the extra money to ship it to WA.

Tom does a fantastic job with the various Saeco machines I’ve had over the years! You can ship to him or take in person for repair — always a reasonable price and on-​time!

I couldn’t find a place in Seattle that would work on my Gaggia espresso machine (I know, isn’t that crazy, in Seattle of all places?), and was headed to Portland for a wedding, so opted to take my machine here in person.
The owner strikes me as a bit of an absent-​minded professor. I think he did a good job with my machine, in a short timeframe, at a fair price. It works well now.
