These guys may know there business but they have zero social skills. Really, they are not nice people and don’t understand that courtesy pays. I will never do business with them again.

I never write poor reviews! But this business takes the cake!
I came here many times as I run businesses and often need to get locks changed — and other things. Every time I’ve gone in it was so so customer service. After all, what more would you expect from a shop like this. It’s just a lock shop, you’re in and your out with your keys, no big deal.
Just wait until something goes wrong and then you will see where I am coming from!
I had to get my store rekeyed and asked for «do not duplicate keys». They rekeyed the store And delivered the keys and changed the locks. Since I don’t work in the store they gave the keys to my manager.
A couple of weeks later I had let an employee go and when she returned her key I noticed the new key didn’t say «do not duplicate» as I specifically requested! Which made me worry so I checked my key and the others employees as well and the same thing on their keys!
I immediately called Curlys lock and key and told them about what had happened and what should be done.
I requested that they re key my store and give me new keys. The guy on the phone was saying he couldn’t so I asked to talk to the manager. Boy was that crazy! The owner got on the phone and was sarcastic to me and was basically in a nutshell telling me that I was wrong. But I told him to look at my sales history and my receipt! My sales history will show that I’ve had that place re keyed several times and got do not duplicate on the keys EVERY SINGLE TIME. He was like why didn’t you look at the keys when you got them. I said i don’t work in the store and I didn’t notice, also why the heck would you re key a commercial store with anything OTHER THAN DO NOT DUPLICATE KEYS?! I told him the employees could have made copies of the keys during this time and I had to do something. I EVEN OFFERED TO PAY HALF AND HE STILL REFUSED AND WAS SO RUDE AND SARCASTIC.
He literally will not listen to you, it’s like common sense is not in his brain whatsoever. Arguing with this guy is like arguing with a 4 year old child. It’s that bad.
If you want to be entertained though, buy something and try to return it or get a refund. I heard he keeps a baseball bat behind the counter to chase good paying customers out the door for complaining. Do it. You know you want to.

I don’t normally do negative reviews I normally just don’t go back to that business again. but one of the things that I don’t like is when I enter a business and I get told a price whether it be an estimate or not. then the next gentleman that comes out and tells me it’s $ 40 per remote and just does not have great customer service I won’t go back. Sad cause when I worked in the area and Darrell was the tech there I brought a lot of business to them. I don’t expect anything for it but I think charging different prices to customers just cause you want to is bad business. I miss Darrell !!!

Have been a customer for years. Last year had a lock set installed on double doors. Service tech was not real experienced, lock was damaged, asked him to make sure it was all set up, and I could replace when the new part came in. Well guess what, he didn’t. Now I have a problem. Called company, yea right, not happy. Never using them again.

I needed a key for my car that was stuck in my driveway without a way to get it to the locksmith. I would have gone straight to infinity, but the cost to tow it would have been too much. So I called the local guys. So much for local guys being honest! Not only were they late, but they charged me more than they quoted, and they didn’t bring the second set of keys I requested. Granted the overcharge was only $ 25, but considering I paid $ 140 extra to have them come to my home (less than 2 miles from their shop), and that they were late and didn’t bring the extra key, you would think that a $ 25 additional service charge would be an easy thing to waive. Now if I want my other key, I have to make time to go to their shop and most likely overpay for the second key as well. I guarantee you they won’t pay me $ 140 for my time that would be wasted by going to see them again!
I am very frustrated and I will never use them again! Please, if you need a locksmith, there are plenty of others in the area!!! Don’t use these guys. I wish I would have checked their reviews on here before I picked up the phone!

This guy’s is super nice and helpful. I had a really weird doorknob that needed a special tool to remove that nobody locally seemed to carry. This guy dug around his shop and found the tool that would work, and gave me a hand.

I love these guys! I’ve been locking my keys in my car since before I had either keys or a car and they have been my go-​to folks. Since they are a AAA vendor, it makes it very convenient for me. Their techs are always personable and professional and I am really glad they are around, and it has never taken them more than 30 minutes to get to me anywhere in the county. No, they don’t have a frequent user club. Yes, I asked.

I have been in here a couple of times. They aren’t always the most friendly bunch but they have the services you need. Once I needed a rare key blank. Another time I needed an automobile cylinder re-​keyed. Both times service was very fast and reasonably priced.
