Having been to both Pat’s and Gino’s in Philadelphia, I highly recommend the cheesesteaks here. They are as close to the originals as I’ve had anywhere else in the country other than in Philadelphia

I have eaten at Bruchis over the years. Today was a simple steak sandwich and a soda. $ 14.00. A sandwich. $ 14. As much as I enjoy quality, this was it for me. I would recommend trying them if you haven’t before, but unfortunately I can’t afford to eat here anymore. Too many other good choices out there that are more affordable.

We love this place, it is soooo good! Coming from two east coast people this is as good as it gets without being in philly!

Real good Mario cheesesteak! The staff is very friendly and courteous. It takes a little while to order, make and prepare your sandwich but worth it if you want to watch a little ESPN and have a beer…

My favorite cheese steak in the area. There fries are also a good side. The pepper steak is my favorite.

Clean place, not too far from highway. Staff was pleasant enough. Menu was varied. But the cheesesteak was sparse. My mushrooms were from a can, not fresh. Tiny, mushy mushrooms. I wasn’t impressed at all.

Very good cheesesteak sandwiches. The meat was a little dry, but that might be because we showed up during the afternoon lull.

Bruchi’s Cheesesteaks and Subs has some super friendly guys behind the counter. They earn most of the stars for Bruchi’s because the Cheesesteak I tried was one of the least cheesy cheesesteaks I’ve had. The bread was dry and the cheese didn’t melt. Even adding Bacon, Grilled Onions, and Jalapenos didn’t do much to save my Bacon Cheddar Cheesesteak. How can so much goodness be so flavorless … and dry? Sigh. Of course, Bruchi’s isn’t fancy food and you wouldn’t want it to be if you’re in the mood for a cheesesteak sandwich or hoagie. They do have Soups and Salads for your friends plus Beer and Wine to help ease the disappointment with the Cheesesteak. In the end, my favorite part of visiting Bruchi’s Cheesesteaks & Subs wasn’t the cheesesteak, but the super service from the crew behind the counter … raising the total rating to an a-ok 3 stars.

It’s hit or miss with this place. The first time I went was GREAT but the second time I went, I ordered the same thing and it was not as good. Maybe it’s the staff? Who knows. Will give it a third attempt at some point.

Yummmm! First time here, ordered the medium blue cheesesteak. So good. Although I am plenty full I am wishing I would’ve gotten the large. Perfect bread to meat to cheese ratio. The steak itself was delicious and how can you I wrong with blue cheese dressing?! Amazing! I could’ve probably done without the lettuce and tomatoes that come in it, but hey gotta get the veggies somewhere ;) the place is decorated nice and is clean. Although it may be hard to find if you don’t know where to look(it’s located around the corner from Fred Meyer opposite the garden center) I will be bringing my fiancé back here he would love it!

I really like the food here, but I think it’s really overpriced for a cheesesteak. Their fries are to die for. My husband has picked up orders to go a couple of times, and I stopped in once for an order to go as well. My experience when I was there: they ran out of most of their bread and were generally very slow(perhaps waiting for more bread to bake). The place was packed and there was a very long line. Overall I do like the food, but we only choose this place on rare occasions because it can be upwards of $ 30 – 35 just for two people.

This is one of my boyfriend’s favorite places to grab a bite to eat. He’s been talking endlessly about us going there for lunch so I finally let him talk me into it a couple weeks ago. I wasn’t really in the mood for a sandwich so I got a soup & salad combo instead. I ordered the chili and was disappointed when it came out lukewarm. The salad was pretty good, though — I liked the dressing. It was pretty crowded at lunchtime, which I guess is to be expected, but we were able to get a table for 4 easily enough. Not on my list of favorites, but I guess I would eat there again if I was in the mood for a sandwich.

I’ve driven by this place and before another location for years without giving it a second thought. Not sure why! Anyways just recently I decided to try it out as I was at Fred Meyers next door and noticed it again. I’m officially a fan now. I got a cheese steak with all the fixings on it, fries(with house sauce), and a soda and it was delicious! Customer service was great and friendly and the place was super clean. I’d recommend it if you are a fan of piping hot fresh cheese steaks! I’ve been back 3 times now already.

They have huge variety of cheesesteaks and cold subs. If you’re in the mood for a really good sandwich, this is the place to be. Love the Western cold sub sandwich. Bread is really fresh. Highly recommend!

Get the Italian Sun(cold sub). It’s a party in your mouth, and it’s pretty affordable! Fries are good, and the staff is really cool and friendly. The pastrami sandwich is better than many in the Vancouver area, but I still don’t think it’s worth it. I rather go to a deli in downtown Portland to get my pastrami filling.

Decent sandwiches at a decent price. Not overly impressed that all the chicken seems to be marinated with pineapple… doesn’t work for me; however, the bread and toppings are all very fresh. Their cold subs seem to be a better choice.

While they’re known for their cheesesteaks, the other sandwiches on the menu are just as good. The bread is fantastic(so soft!), the club(cold), the roast beef(cold), and the bluecheese(grilled) are some of the best subs you can get in the PDX metro area. Just the right blends of great meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies. But, when you go beyond the sandwiches, it’s the service that can really blow you away. Everyone there goes out of there way to make sure you feel welcome and have a pleasant dining experience.

Let me start by saying I am not a cheesesteak expert. Not even close. But of the few I’ve had, Bruchi’s might be my favorite, for the actual cheesesteak. Service was decent, it’s an order at the counter joint, and here’s what we tried: Regular Cheesesteak — tasty, they didn’t skimp on the steak part but seemed to a little bit on the cheese part. If there’s going to be skimp on a sandwich, that’s the preferred way to do it! Italian Cold Sub — done with a Caesar dressing(I prefer oil & vinegar but don’t ask me which one is correct Italian) — a good amount of fillings, including a slice of ham on top of the sandwich, kind of like a sandwich blanket? It didn’t want to stay put. Onion rings — not bad, not great, pretty much sums up as nothing special to see here folks, move along… I’ll give them another try when I’m in the area. They have a decent sized menu to work through — ooh plus their menu had Halibut Fish Tacos that will have to get added to my Fish Taco quest… to be continued!

I’ve tried a lot of cheesesteaks, including both Pat’s and Geno’s in Philly, and this is right up there. Can’t wait to go back and have another!
