I had a wonderful experience here! The staff was very friendly and worked within my budget. When I told them my price range, they ONLY showed me dresses that fit my requirements. They gave me free reign to wander without being overbearing but were always right there if I needed anything. They didn’t look put out that my girls came along, and at 5 and 7 years old, I fully expected some hesitation by the staff.(I DID bring along books and entertainment for the kids, I didn’t want to risk them rummaging through dress racks)

I am plus-sized and shopping for regular clothes is a nightmare, let alone wedding dresses! I was having a hard time finding any shops in Portland that carried dresses in my size. So we made the trip out here and I’m so glad we did! Within 3 minutes I already had a better experience than at David’s Bridal. All of the women there were warm and very friendly, especially the woman who was helping me, Angie. They had about 5 – 6 dresses available to try on in my size, which beat DB’s 2 and very rude salespeople. And they were MUCH better quality. I was lucky enough to find my dress. My mother-in-law-to-be and I had a WONDERFUL experience. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I do still wish they had more high plus-size stock. 5 or 6 is better, but still not very much! My dress is gorgeous, incredibly priced, and I am a very happy customer so far! They even gave me a beautiful rose in a ribboned vase after my purchase. And their veil prices are amazing, too!

I got my wedding dress from this shop for my wedding on May 15, 2010. I had a great experience up until the alterations. The alterations woman was extremely rude and did nothing to help me fix a major problem with my dress. Definitely make sure your dress is already set up with a bustle before you buy it, so you can see what it will look like when bustled. I ended up having to use safety pins on my dress to keep the fabric from sticking out in the front when it was bustled. It all worked out in the end, but with no help from the alterations woman.

I drove all the way from North Plains to visit this store, as they were the closest store to carry the specific dresses I had in mind to try on. Vicki, the woman who helped me was very professional, polite, and helpful. I am a planner, and had a post-it note with the numbers of the dresses I was interested in. I handed it to her, and she immediately went to work in their books to see which they had in stock. While she was doing that, her coworker pointed out where the sizes I was looking for were located and for me to help myself to see if there was anything else I was interested in. She also showed me how to read their tags, so I could determine which were discontinued and which can be reordered. Less than 5 minutes after walking in the door, we were in a dressing room. She listened very well to what I was looking for, and gave her suggestions and opinions on all the dresses. She waited with us while my mother and sister oogled each one. For the few dresses they didn’t have in stock, she did find a dress with a similar cut so I could get an idea of how it would fit. This was very nice, because I have gone to a store before and the employees did not offer this. Long story short, I found THEDRESS, but I’m still debating because there are a few variations of this dress, depending it I want strapless or a full skirt, etc. I am super happy about my visit, and even though it’s almost an hour drive, it is worth the great service along with the respect and consideration makes it even better! The prices were very reasonable, and there were a LOT of options. I wanted to spend less than $ 1,000.00. They also do not charge sales tax even if you live in Washington. No photography allowed, and that’s a little odd, but that’s not that big of a deal anyway. Just drag along your friends and mom and you will have a good time! I will definitely be back!!!

Bridal Arts has a fabulous selection and they offer free steam & storage when you purchase one of their dresses BUT they have some policies that make working with them overly difficult. They are one of the only wedding dress shops in the area that do not allow you to take pictures. They also won’t give you any information on the dress you like besides the designer’s name. So, you have no way of showing the dress to others or seeing how well the dress photographs or compare the dress to ones you have tried on in other stores. They take walk-in which is nice but not when you have an appointment and are forced to wait and only have partial attention given to you because they have too many customers and too little staff. I guess I am trying to say I am unimpressed.
