The Bat Cave stands out with how great the community is for a cohesive gaming experience. I love magic and I like board games. They have all the magic I need with experienced staff who give me suggestions on cards, but no pressure. Their game assortment has surprisingly given me a lot of help with birthday/holiday present ideas. I don’t have a lot of time for games. But when I get an hour, I’m able to sit down at a table, talk to staff/gamers and really enjoy myself. The last time I was in, I asked people for deck advice, got to play some EDH, and improve my deck with what I was told/learned from those matches. The 3 cards cost me $ 1.50. I didn’t take the $ 10.00 suggestion, buy the guy at the counter said my deck got plenty help from the other 3 and not to worry. I am addicted to this cardboard Crack though, so when I get a spare 10 I’ll probably go back and get it! This is what a game store should be. Snacks, friends, and games. Also Burgerville is literally 20 steps from the store. The only negative for me is when there’s a lot of people, it can get packed. But that kind of shows you that people really want to be there.

The Bat Cave is a great place to get all of your Magic the Gathering and other card game supplies. They are also locally owned which goes far with me and makes it a place that I don’t mind spending my money at. The owner, Matt Cave is awesome and very helpful to whomever comes in from MTG masters to neophytes just learning or playing for fun. so if you have kids that are into the games or even for yourself, The Bat Cave is a great place to go.
