This store is across the street from Mint Tea, one of the best discoveries for Vancouver. This is a second-hand store that is also called, «The Discovery Shop». My mother and I visited this store last Friday. They had some adorable spring jackets for $ 9 – 15. I just have over a dozen jackets: so no need to buy more. My mother found two nice quality shirts on sale. She ended up paying only $ 3 for both of them. She scored big time. I bought an atlas here several years ago. Nice location in town. The store is run by volunteers and the proceeds to sales goes towards The America Cancer Society. can’t beat that.

I used to shop at this thrift store 15 years ago. I was happy to find that it was still around. Not as much good stuff as it used to have, but still some nice finds. The store has clothing, knick-knacks and the whatnots. The prices on the clothing is a little high for USED stuff. I did get 3 pairs of really nice shoes for $ 20. The shoes were barely worn — if at all! Total score! They have $ 1 clothing racks with some nice stuff… You just have to really look — like most thrift stores! They have a «frequent shopper» stamp card. Once filled — you can either DONATE to someone needy –OR– you can shop with $ 10 store-credit. The staff is made up of older ladies and they were not very friendly. I tried to engage the two ladies into conversation and it was a total bust! But I will go back and I hope I am able to find some more treasures at a reasonable price!!!
