#chili I’d forgotten how good Wendy’s chili is!!! This cold snap had me craving a hot bowl of chili. I searched Unilocal and found nothing compelling near me. Then I remembered Wendy’s, and thought why not, it’s been awhile. A large, with sour cream on the side for under $ 3? And it was really hearty and delicious. Totally hit the spot!

The drive thru line was 5 cars deep and they moved it pretty quickly. My fries were fresh and hot. And the frosty didn’t disappoint ether.

Fast food chain naturally means fast food service by the staff but does not mean staff has to rudely rush the customer to choose and place the order. Just had an annoying customer service experience from their staff at the drive thru. The girl kept on rudely prompting and rushing me to choose. I am not a Wendy’s regular and not very familiar with the menu. I was the ONLY car at the drive thru and I was barely there for a minute trying get a good look at the menu when this girl started prompting me with questions asking if that’s all my order after the 1st ordered item. I was there to order for 4 people! Had to tell her twice to give me moment and not to rush me. What a lousy customer service! And oh yeah, peeked inside and they have no other customer at the counter inside.

Drive thru experience today: I ordered«a #1, plain, no cheese. Just meat and bun.» Drove up, paid and pulled out. I stopped in the lot to unpack it. Single with no cheese. *sigh* go inside and repeat what i ordered. «single, plain, no cheese. Meat and bun.» Given my remade burger and left. Got in the car. «Seriously?!» Plain with cheese. WTF? I said it plain and simple. Meat and bun!” Why did i bother with the drive thru if i had to go inside twice to get my simple order fixed.

This review is from my drive thru experiences. There is no attention to detail at this wendys. Whenever I order a sour cream and chive potato they never give me any of the condiments that come with it just the potato and a fork. I always have to ask after i get my food for sourcream and butter which are supposed to come with the potato. They never ask you if you want sauce with a nugget order either. There’s never been an order that I got exactly what I ordered, they always either forget to give you some of your food or the condiments that go with it. No complaints about the food, it’s always cooked right and tasty.

Why is everyone hating on this Wendy’s? I’m going to guess that 99% of the patrons of this chain know what to expect when eating at a fast food chain and so aren’t rushing to Unilocal to write reviews of their local Wendy’s, so what we’re seeing on this page are the cries of disgruntled customers(which every restaurant has…) I don’t frequent Wendy’s, however this is the one in my neighborhood and I have no complaints! Chain restaurants are most known for the consistency of their menu, so there’s nothing to rate there, either you like Wendy’s food or you don’t. Rating an individual restaurant in a big chain I always look at three things: 1) Cleanliness… is the place clean? 2) Service. 3) Large deviations from the corporate standards. This Wendy’s is just fine! I eat here a few times a year, and am always happy with the quality of the food I receive. The staff is always very friendly, and I get what I expect when I order. So unless you’re a stickler looking for minutia to criticize, if you’re hungry and in the mood for Wendy’s, this location is a great option!

UPDATE: I got a response from the VP of Operations at Wendy’s. It’s nice to know that they admit they are falsely advertising the sandwich and chose to replace the buns first before the pictures. I’m officially done with Wendy’s. I’ll take my $ 8 and spend it elsewhere. RESPONSEFROMVPOFOPERATIONS: I am very sorry to hear that you were not happy with our new bun. The recipe for the bun was changed in order for us to start toasting our new hamburger. The bun actually cost more to produce and as always Wendy’s looks for the best possible product to use in the preparation of our products. This particular bun does not have sesame seeds which change the overall look of the bun but the flavor factor is much better. Unfortunately the pictures in the dining room do not reflect our new bun as does all of the graphics on our menu boards which we felt needed to be replaced first, hoping our loyal customers would not be confused. These pictures are being manufactured as quickly as possible and will be in the stores shortly. Again, please accept my apology for the difference in the two graphics and be assured that Wendy’s motto is and always has been«Quality Is Our Recipe». — — — — — — - I got ripped off by Wendy’s, and I urge those to take a look at their burger before biting into it. My boyfriend and I ordered lunch 2 Asiago Chicken Club Combos with fries and a drink. As we were eating it, my boyfriend noticed that our hamburger buns were REGULAR hamburger buns, not the buns pictured on the menu! It is not the tasty, higher-quality buns with the ridges on top! I don’t know if Wendy’s became cheap with their buns or if it is just this Wendy’s, but that is false advertising! We are paying almost $ 8 each for a combo meal and I want the fancy, expensive bun, not the cheapy bun that comes on the 99 cent burgers! I have addressed with this Wendy’s website, so let’s see if they can explain why the sandwich we were served is not the same sandwich that’s on their pictures.
