Meat extra dry and old disgusting no flavor worst tacos and torta de milanesa ever. We try the menudo as well and they give a big as piece of bone it almost full the plate no worth the $ 10 dollars… Plus girl so rude and unfortunately

Good carne Asada, real avocado slices, and flavorful rice with a red hot sauce. Place is a little cramped. The cashier is friendly and efficient. The cooks are accomodating.

I have been coming here since 2005 since I went to school across the street, I’ve always loved the food and service here. Unfortunately this review isn’t a positive one, they have hired a cashier(don’t know what her name is but she wears a lot of blush on her face) and she is just absolutely rude, her attitude alone surely made me not want to come back and that’s extremely sad to say because I do enjoy the food here A LOT… Not only did she treat me unkindly but the people in front me of in line and the people after me as well. Two of my friends were with me and they also have lost the enthusiasm to come eat here again because as we all know there is more than one Mexican restaurant around the San Fernando Valley. I suggest Juanitos immediately adjusts her attitude or they will continue to lose clientele. My opinion, people, is just go to another Mexican spot because this place isn’t that much special ANYMORE. (2 stars just because of the history with the place)

This place is just OK. The lady who takes your order is awfully rude at times and talks way too loud, almost yelling. I used to come here often since it was next to my old school and the best thing on their menu were the asada nachos. Delicious! Small restaurant inside a tiny plaza so parking can be hell during lunch. They also charge if you’re using debit/credit. These places need to stop charging us and get more modern with our ways of paying!

Been coming here for ages… Since when I still had hair on my head. Hold on the wall and absolutely delicious food. I usually have the chicken tacos, a burrito with no rice and my wife likes the chicken burrito with the works… Avocado, salsa and all. Yummmmmm. The rice drink called horchata is delicious… Somewhat of an acquired taste. Good size portions, price is right. Parking can be a challenge. Highly recommend it for good Mexican or taco fix.

Hole in the wall to be sure. One of the best chicken quesadillas I’ve ever had. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I do wish the bathroom door felt a little more solid…

Food is okay, but the service, especially from the woman at the counter is pretty bad. Serious attitude, and she complained constantly to the cook about customers.

As a Birmingham HS alumni I’ve always loved coming here, it was always the hang out spot back in the days. The area is kind of scary though, there were always shootings or fights in this plaza when I was still in high school(8 years ago). But I still come back for one thing, their asada(steak) nachos. I always get them without salsa since I don’t do well with spicy, I just love that they use real melted Monterey Jack cheese instead of the typical nacho cheddar cheese which I’ve never been a fan of. The portion is more than enough, 2 – 3 people could easily share this and it’s only $ 7! Oh and the best part is they put avocado slices on top to garnish it for no extra charge, yum! Service is great, super attentive and friendly. Will always come back to this place when I am in the area.

I just had three tacos and a horchata here. Lovely healthy sized portions with lots of onion, cilantro, radish and a half a lime. A few tortilla chips and a dish of salsa was included. Very tasty. The al pastor was just finished being prepared and was excellent; tender and flavorful. I also had the carnitas and asada. Each was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

First time here, was hungry and in the area, craving tacos — did a Unilocal search and came by. Had asada and al pastor tacos, mom had the taco combo with rice and beans. They were great! Great flavor, clean meat(not fatty), well served. Will definitely be back.

Stopped for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the Carnitas and they were quite good and only $ 9.00. I look forward to coming back and working my way through the menu.

I’ve only had the carne asada tacos but I can’t get enough! Sweet people behind the counter and grill and can’t beat the price or the fast service. Authentic and delicious!

If it was possible to give less than 1 star I would. Their credit card machine is broken and somehow that became my fault. I tried more than one card(all are good). Nothing worked. Lady was rude and said mean things in Spanish(understood every word). Place needs to close. Used our card down the street with no problems

Got the CHORIZOANDEGG breakfast burrito. Was pleasantly surprised that it had avocado in it. Tasty, slightly spicy and a little heavy on the rice. Would get it again.

I drive all the way from Brentwood to eat here. The carnitas tacos are amazing. I give them a 9.5 out of 10. If you find yourself in the Valley with time to spare, I recommend the carnitas tacos or a chicken burrito. Swing by. The meat stews all day long until it’s soft and tender. The best! I have eaten here for over ten years and have never had a bad experience. In fact, once I left my wallet at home, and they gave me food on credit. I just paid the next time I came in. True hospitality!

Came in here while waiting for a friend… been a while since I’ve eaten at a random Mexican restaurant and I normally don’t like to do that. Super starving and the girl in the front was super nice and I asked her to tell me what she would eat if she had to ear right now. Recommended the burritto with everything and WOW. Azing. Great service(which is hard to come by with places like these) and food was bomb!!!

Worst burrito I’ve had in a long time. I use to really like this place back in the days but today, total disappointment!!! I don’t really write reviews especially bad one, but this burrito was that horrible! Don’t ask for the pastor here, it’s the worst.

Decent Mexican food. You can call ahead your orders if you are in a hurry which was a plus. I think they are cash only though. Glad there was alot of parking inside this little strip mall. Tried their carne asada wet burrito or mojado. It looked amazing dripping with cheese and onions and a side of avocado and chips but it didn’t taste as good as it looked. I have no idea why. Maybe there wasn’t enough salt and pepper or maybe it wasn’t spicy enough. Didn’t really pack alot of flavor. Maybe the carne asada was too small. No idea what it was. It was a decent burrito but if it had to choose only one place I would say there are better alternatives.

I have to give it to these guys for being open super early in the morning. And they have«breakfast burritos» too. But their breakfast burritos are limited on the toppings. They have chorizos but no regular sausages. But their burritos are pretty big and you should only come here if you’re starving. But I wasn’t feeling the burrito. Not a great quality breakfast burrito. But hey, it’s full of protein so I guess that’s good. And they give out chips too. They do have a $ 1 surcharge for Visa or ATM purchases.
