A Writer’s Rise ‘n Shine Candle
Just before I sit down and I write, I light my Vanilla scented candle. No matter what, I make it a point to stick to a writing schedule until my office fills up with the scent of sugar cookies. (Yes, this candle really does smell like cookies baking in my oven after about 20 minutes.) No wonder I get the munchies halfway through my daily writing routine! Its fragrance goes well with my morning cup of espresso. Sometimes, I find my writing trails off into food territory. Hmm, now I know why.
