This place is closed! Or I’m totally blind because I’ve walked over gazillion times and I don’t see any Phở place in the vicinity! And if I’m wrong then please list a correct number so I can try out this place!

I decided to give this Phở a try since my favorite place in Korea town closed down. I order it to go and I know is not as good when its to go, but even then it was really good. It did not have any fat on the broth like many places do. It seem really healthy, and tasty also. I will definitively return here and try it again.

Before I left, my friends wanted to take me to this place to eat some Vietnamese authentic dishes, other than Phở beef noodles. When we got there, we found out that they changed owner. The guy gave us some new menu and the original menu. So we thought we could order the dishes my friends wanted. We then were told that they did not offer those dishes anymore. We thought what on earth he would offer the customers the old menu if we could not order the dishes from the menu. How stupid it could be. The food was just ok, nothing special. I definitely won’t go back next time when I visit LA again. There are plenty choices in LA for good delicious Phở and Vietnamese food.

Same family(as far as I know) when I started coming here and it was called Hong Phat. Same great food and service. The owner, who also sometimes takes your order, will do some corny but funny magic tricks if you’re lucky ;)

Previously Hong Phat restaurant was here, but they went out of business and this restaurant came in. My family and I went here to support them since we heard through the grapevine that they were new to town. They kept the old restaurant’s menus but sharpie-d out the ones that they don’t/can’t make. The décor was simple… you’d think after a week they would have been able to do SOMETHING with the interior. Whatever, they’re Vietnamese, and interior design isn’t our people’s forte. My mom and I ordered the phở. My uncle, aunt, and cousin ordered the Bun. Bun looked ok. The phở had to be the worst phở I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It smelled like phở, but when you ate it, it was like a bowl of hot water with noodles and meat. I had to ask for extra fat to give it some flavor, and that didn’t really help. I attributed the poor quality to them being noobs to the restaurant business, but we were talking to the owners and they said that they had a restaurant in Anaheim, but moved over here. They were probably driven out of Anaheim because their food sucked so hard. The service… the lady was nice, but the older guy was standoffish until we paid. then he was all smiles.
