This place is not quite panos. I Had a steak sandwich and the steak although had decent flavor it was kind of chewy and every time you took a bit the whole piece of steak came out of the sandwich. Now you had to bite the steak and hold it with your hand at the same time which made it really messy. The up side was that the bread was a really nice french roll and had a good sauce on it. They did charge like 50 or 75 cents extra to grill onions which made me feel
Like they were nickel and diming me.
The fries could have been better. It was a a LARGE portion but they were very doughy and nit very crispy.
Overall i was not too impressed but I would definitely try it again.

Grilled cheese is only like 3 dollars and is absolutely delicious. Tastes like Johnny rockets, or big boys.
Ceaser salad is also amazing. Just found this place recently and glad I did.
Also the staff are pretty friendly when you walk in :)
Definetly recommend .!

I JUST ATE THE BEST DENVER OMELETTE!
Wow! This was my 1st meal at Henry’s. I had pulled over to look up a good place to eat and Henry’s was there.
They have a really big menu with lots to choose from. I ordered the Denver omelette. This omelette was cooked to perfection. It was nice and full of fresh ingredients and tasted fantastic!
They cook their omelets on the grill, not in a pan. Really really tasty. What a treat it was!
I know I’ll be back and I know I’ll order the gyro!
The people are very nice and a pleasure to talk too.

Amazing gyro sandwich. Cheap. The special comes with fries and a drink for only a couple bucks more. Totally worth it. Haven’t tried anything else… yet. Fries are tasty but I wish more places in LA added some more seasoning (this place doesn’t). Clean atmosphere and happy workers. Great joint to stop by. They also have good old fashioned selection of burgers.

Ok! So, I was super excited about this joint. Silly me I ordered the chicken gyro and my friend ordered the steak sandwich. I got to admit the steak sandwich was bomb, but the chicken gyro sandwich wasn’t the greatest. I guess, you kinda have to go with the original gyro sandwich. The fries were great and the service was on point. They didn’t fuss about giving extra sauce, which I thought was a big deal. If you know me– you know that I love sauce!

Just finished the last bite of my gyro sandwich, and i can say best gyro in the valley and its only $ 6! No need for a second, unlike zankou and such, this sandwich is generously stuffed with meat and condiments it will fill you up! The taste of it is also unbelievable, juicy meat, fresh veggies and it brings back the taste im used to in the middle east, people bitchin about AC really got no purpose in life lol, its A food place people not a cooling center.

Pedestrian. I had the gyro omelet and it was fine, could have had more meat in it though. The vegetables used were fresh and tasty and the hashbrowns were acceptable. But overall it was just average.
Given the number of hamburger and omelet joints in the Valley, a place like this blends into the landscape.
I will say that the place is very clean and that is a definite plus.

I had the double beef souvlaki plate. It was served with a very large greek salad. Both were tasty but I can’t say there is anything different here than the other greek fast food places in the valley. The owner was very friendly.

My fiancée has becoming here for years. She has seen many owners come and go. Henry is doing it right! The food here is so amazing and tasty! The cheese burger is one of the best in the valley. The gyros are so good! The taste is literally perfect! I recommend trying this place out. You will fall in love and keep going back! The service is good. The cook knows exactly what he is doing and the main guy at the register is very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to try some food, to see how amazing it really is! Do yourself a favor and go get some Henry’s!

I ordered the double meat chicken souvlaki. Not much meat, chicken was dry and it was dark meat. Usually dark meat is juicy. Salad wasn’t great. My friend had the hot dog and it was soggy and not good.
Not coming back.
A plus is that people are super friendly :)

Back again, already! We got to go inside and sit down to have dinner last night, about an hour before closing time. There was only one cook and a lot of people just coming in… not a problem. Service was great. Food was perfect, once again. I would like to try other items but the gyro is just SO good. The seasoned fries are cooked just the way we like them. Great Job Henry’s!

Just had dinner with my family at Henry’s Charbroiler on Victory and Woodley in Van Nuys…
Yes it was Panos and the food is still great. The new owner retained the old cook so the hero sandwiches are still delicious as ever with lots of meat you can’t even finish it. When we were there I saw a lot of the neighborhood people coming in for their take outs. It’s good to see that… we have to embrace and support our local mama and papa businesses. Thank you Henry.
