The worse moving company ever — Sam the owner/manager gives false information — he will tell you that he didn’t move us — he lied about every thing — asked him about installing our washer and dryer he said yes — removing and installing doors to new refrigerator and installed ice maker he said yes — he had no clue what he was doing — he said 3 men — 4 hours max — one person he picked up that morning he didn’t even know how to move — other guy didn’t know what he was doing and Sam didn’t know what he was doing — he used disgusting language — made a mess — upset all the neighbors — took hours — broke and scratched my items — overcharged, sat in his truck for hours, the poor guys working with him didn’t know what they were doing — they apologized and said they were so sorry — he was to arrive at 2:30 he arrived at12:30 — he tooks hours to move 16 boxes, 2 beds, 1 table, 1 dresser, washer and dryer, one small dining table, 1 refrigerator — water was all over the floor — broke the ice maker, couldnt put together washer and dryer, took my cloths and through them on the floor in a room — he promised he would replace any thing broken — he didn’t even return calls or emails, I drove to 5 location on his website and no First American Movers — they owe me money and I haven’t heard from them — they are the worse moving company ever and Sam is the most unethical person ever to deal with and uses the F work all the time Don’t trust them — they don’t know what they are doing and they do not tell the truth and they don’t stand behind their comments. Merlin — and don’t believe them when they say we don’t have that paper work I have copies I can show you and pictures

Just like the rest of the reviews state, they were horrible. The owner of the company is unethical and tells you want to hear but then once the job is done, you are charged for things that were NEVER mentioned. Thankfully I made it a point to send him an email stating what we discussed on the phone since I never received any kind of confirmation from him in writing. When they guys got to my place, they were SLOOOW. And when driving to Century City, they had to stop to get gas and food, WTF!!! I was annoyed this took time out of the moving process AND I knew they would charge me. Worse part of all, the stupid idiot owner took my credit card number down incorrectly so he couldn’t charge me… what does he do, shows up to my new apartment at 8AM banging on the door like a mad man saying«you owe me money!» I was mortified with my new neighbors AND upset because of his way of handling the issue. Good thing I didn’t call the police on him; could have gotten him for trespassing! This happened a couple months past; I recently receive a call from someone at this company asking if I was moving or knew anyone moving soon and if there were recommendations… HELLNO, I told they girl I had the worse experience and I will never recommend this company to anyone. Do not use this company. The San Fernando area manager provided inaccurate information, overcharged, accused me of lying, screened my phone calls, and did not refund me as agreed. Luckily a customer service rep called me and straightened the refund out. I can believe there is company like this out there. The movers got lost to my house, called me in the morning for directions, then got lost to the new house and called me again for directions. Hello? GPS? Mapquest? Or at least call your office for directions!
