I don’t expect greatness from 7 – 11. This one is on the way to work from home so I occasionally stop by to get a snack on the way in. The stuff is ok. Hot dog and a soda for 2 bucks is fine. But the main problem I have with this location is their propensity for not giving you all of your change back when you pay with cash. Aforementioned hot dog and soda + tax is $ 2.18. I hand the guy a five. He gives me back $ 2.80 as if I don’t know how to do math. I get that it is a minuscule sum but how many times a day do they do this? It makes me not want to shop there anymore. If I can’t trust the staff to give me the right amount of money back, and when confronted about it, they act like I’m the asshole … forget about it. This review gets 1 star for the hotdog and 1 star for the Dr Pepper. There is one employee that does her job right, a Latina girl who is there most of the time, but the middle eastern guy is the guy stiffing every one a couple of cents a time. Every time. Anecdotally I can recount at least 5 times it’s happened. This guy’s piggy bank must be getting nice and full.

Yeah, I know. It is 7 – 11 and what can you expect. Surprisingly the staff is the highlight here. They are really nice and even at night. I had the worst«Welcome to the neighborhood» here when I moved to the area a year ago. I walked to get some goodies and a car chase ended right in front and we had to be locked in. But I digress… At night is inventory time but the guy at the counter will move anything if it is in the way. The shelves are always stocked and clean. This one is a convenience that I like to have near my home.
