7-Eleven

The stuff here is always nice and helpful and they never give me attitude like most seven elevens do and it’s really close to my house

I’ve been coming to this 7 eleven for years now! It’s a great location because it’s a walking distance from where I live.
They have the best slurpees and the banana bread is very moist and delicious.
The employees are nice.
It’s always clean & very organize.

I have nothing against this store in particular; I’m not sure how much of it is actually the owner’s decision, or how much Corporate makes them do this: their coffee cup lids.
I can’t live without 7 – 11 coffee. I drink it 5 – 6 days a week. I don’t do Starbucks, I don’t do Coffee Bean. 7-​E is perfect. Well, it USED to be perfect. In the old days, they had one type of coffee cup lid; the classic model, where you had to tear off the sippy tab thingie. Along the way, some busy body figured out a new design, which has just a tiny slit already cut into the lid for you to drink out of.
Problem is, the pre-​cut lids, for whatever god-​forsaken reason, drip coffee out of it EVERYWHERE. It gets all over my car, all over my goddamn hands, and all over my clothes. I can’t STAND it. I don’t know how someone didn’t figure this out, and when they tested it or bought them themselves at 7 – 11’s all across this great nation, say: «Hey there’s a major design flaw with these lids; they leak coffee all over the fucking place!»
This particular 7 – 11 is one of 2 that is on my way to work every day. I picked it because it always had the tear-​off top lids. Now, all of a sudden, they’re back to the shitty pre-​cut ones. I got a cup today and almost threw it out of my window before I was even half finished with it, because it was leaking coffee all over the place and just infuriating me.
Again, I’m not sure if it’s a conscious decision by the manager to order those particular lids, or the company just sends them what they send them. But if he IS, and he’s reading this: PLEASE for the love of (both of) our god’s; get the coffee lids that you have to tear the tab off!
Other than that, place is fine, as good as any other 7 – 11.
