I’m always confused when I walk out of fast food with a bill for more than $ 10. It’s like all humans have made an unspoken agreement that we’re totally ok with this «food» shaving off 15+ years of our lives but only on the condition that we spend no more than $ 10 on any one visit.
My bill was roughly $ 16 for two people. I was initially OUTRAGED. Fortunately, I was surrounded by dozens of tubs of comfort food, and my mood elevated by the time the first bite of chicken was gently falling down the insides of my gut.
Guys. It’s POPEYES. THIS PLACE IS EXACTLY AS GOOD AND AS BAD AS IT SHOULD BE.
CHICKEN. Check. RED BEANS AND RICE. Check. MASHED POTATOES. Check. BISCUIT and GET DAT HONEY. CHECK CHECK CHECK.
FOUR. STARS. ALL. DAY.
Tip: Ditch anything green from here WHAT IS THIS A WHOLE FOODS LOL but seriously don’t get the green beans.

This location is always fast and super friendly. We drove away without our cajun rice, came right back, but it was ready and they were expecting us with an extra. Really appreciate the customer service and those on duty tonight. Now we can treat our friends

Very dirty. The garbage is on the floor and the containers are over filled. The employees rude and very offensive after a customer brought it up to their attention.

The first time I have tried Popeyes and I am feeling ripped off. I have ordered 3 piece meals at KFC, El Pollo Loco, Zankou Chicken and many others. All have been about the same cost 8 – 9 dollars. Never have I been served 2 wings and 1 breast.
I got the meal in the drive thru and I have learned to check. I found two wings and a breast, I was sure this was a mistake. So I parked and went inside and waited in line while they waited on two other customers. When I finally got to the cashier I explained I thought there was a mistake. She told me it is 3 pieces isn’t it? I explained I expected one wing and two breasts the same as I have gotten when I ordered at other chicken places. She turned and told the person behind the window my issue and I was told well «here it is two wings and a breast.» I said well for 9 this is the last time I will spend my money here and left. I really wanted to give them back the food and get a refund but had left part of the order in my car.
I will not be back, and didn’t find the chicken all that great any way.

Wow. I so like Popeyes. But tonight’s dinner from the drive-​through is a joke. I ordered the shrimp graver and a three-​piece with french fries and a biscuit. The shrimp is refried which makes it very very hard and tasteless. The chicken was probably fresh about 5 PM and it is now nearly 9 PM. And the french fries were two or three times fried, and as hard as a rock. The biscuit however should’ve been cooked about 10 minutes longer it is is pasty is a white person who hasn’t seen the sun in 10 years. Such simple things that went wrong and it’s so so sad.
The service was good and attentive.
But that good service so did not make up for all of the deficiencies. SAD

Please do the community a favor and hire people who are competent. We ordered 22 pieces of chicken and they gave us a small handful of ketchup and 4 ranch. Really???

I guess if you want to pay for crummy service and bad attitude, this is the place.
I have visited this location several times and I have received the same type of service every time hoping it will change. Employees give out inconsistant crummy portions when serving food which makes me question why i spend my money at your business. If I say something, i get a bunch of attitude embarassing me infront of other guests and I am forced to wait atleast 15 minutes to have my order fixed. (today it was a short, round hispanic girl with a pink polo shirt)
Today I witnessed employees yelling and mocking another employee over a mistake with a line to the door with guests waiting when they could have focused on their jobs and got orders out in a reasonable amount of time.
In addition to all of this your employees are rude. They don’t even say hello or thank you and I feel like I am interupting and incoveniencing them when I come into your business.
This place is a circus. What a shame. I won’t be back.

Ok, seriously folks, how do you not give butter with biscuits in a bag? They didn’t even ask what kind of dipping sauce I wanted for my chicken tenders. Got home to some dry biscuits and chicken.

I came in wanting to order a shrimp po’ boy sandwich only to find that they no longer offered it. They did however have a chicken po’ boy sandwich and I asked if they could just exchange the chicken with shrimp & the cashier girl told me they couldn’t.
Most of the meals cost at least $ 8 and up which is pretty expensive considering this is fast food. I ordered a popcorn shrimp combo. When I received it the portioning looked measly and small, not worth $ 8, although to be fair, I felt full after eating all of it.
The soft drinks they offer are all sugar, sugar, and more sugar. Even the iced tea they offer is extremely-​mega-​over-​the-​top sugary sweet tea, which is basically liquid diabetes. Usually I like to water my soft drinks down or add some club soda to it to reduce the amount of sugar I’m drinking. The soda fountain at this location offers no club soda or water options at all. If you want a cup of water they have to give you some from behind the counter.
Also no ketchup was available is a self-​serve manner, you have to ask for it, and there was a line so I didn’t bother.
This place is disappointing I must say, I’ll not come here again.

Normally I don’t write a review for a fast food restaurant, but I had to because I was that impressed. Never mind the food, it’s basically the same at all locations. The service is why I’m writing this review. Usually I go to Victory Blvd and Vineland Ave. location and their service is always disastrous. But I stopped by this location because I was running errands in the neighborhood. I ate in both times when I came in and was always greeted with «Welcome back to Popeyes» every time I walked in. The reason that I’m impressed with this place is because of their service. These girls are well trained, so great job by the manager. Example #1, I was done eating and was playing with my phone, the girl who was filling up the ice machine asked me if I was done eating and took my tray away. Example #2, when I walked in, one of the girl was mopping the floor so it was wet. Breanna, the girl who took my order brought my order to my table and said «I noticed you’re wearing sandals, I dodn’t want you to slip and fall.» If that was not great service, I don’t know what is. I know it’s just little things but they make a lot of difference. Not only she was always nice and friendly, but she was considerate and went above and beyond her duty. Thanks guys. Great job, keep it up!

There was a roach in my coleslaw… They gave me my money back but I don’t think I can eat coleslaw anymore and it’s one of my favorite things.

I am extremely allergic to seafood and when I got home the chicken and potato fries both tasted like seafood!!! So I called and got a manager by the name of Gladys on the telephone and instead of being in shock and awe, she try to defend the workers saying that they would never cross contaminate grief with seafood. Again, I am so allergic to seafood I can taste it a mile away!!!
And both fryers are used for chicken and fish and french fries all together. She could care less… but eventually they are going to make someone VERY ill by doing this!!! I wouldn’t eat here if my life depended on it!!!

I was served by two lady server named Keiuna and Brenda and I think both of them were slow in the head. Not that I am opposed to hiring handicapped but I think they were both dazed and confused. They forgot to give me my receipt and forgot to tell me that they ran out of the
sauce that comes with my order. Don’t keep your customers guessing. Be proactive on telling them what they’re not getting and offer a substitute.

Best fried chicken ever. KFC makes me so sick. But Popeyes chicken doesn’t. I love their spicy chicken and their sauces. Yes to Cajun fries and mac and cheese and of course there biscuits are amazing. This Popeyes has a drive thru

Food’s normal Popeye’s fare. Service sucks. Nearly didn’t get my drink, had to ask for napkins and dipping sauce. Pretty sure I was gypped on a biscuit. In that I paid for it but did not get it.

I am a die hard popeyes fan but the customer service at this location is lacking. I arrived 30min before closing and asked for a 2-​piece white meat dinner. They told me they could only give me a wing and a thigh and I asked how long it would take to do a breast. They said it would take 20min but they refused to cook it because «it would come out too close to closing». I opted not to order anything from this location and I went to the popeyes on Victory instead where the service was great! Even though I got there at 9:45 they still put a breast in the fryer for me and made sure I got what I ordered.

I ordered at the drive thru and when I got home I had realized they gave me the wrong order. I called them and came back and they made everything right. They gave me my correct order with a few extras to make up for their mistake.
I was extremely happy and satisfied afterward. I want to thank the staff and manager for making everything perfect. 5 stars for this location.

I only had the chicken. The chicken was a little dry and not that juicy. I did like the spicy flavor better than the mild one. The chicken is average but not spectacular.
I did not have a any biscuits so I can not comment on them.

Holyyyy mother of God! Where the hell do I start!!! I was 2 seconds away from leaving my car in the drive thru and walking Into oncoming traffic! So we stop at the drive thru and the girl goes «Welcome BACK to Popeys»… (I’ve never been to this or any Popeys… Welcome BACK to you to you!). So right off the bat she asks me how many orders I have… I say 3… She says sorry I can only take 2 orders at a time. You must go around for the 3^rd order or come inside… :/​/​/​/​/​/​ (Somebody shoot me in the butt-​hole!)
So she tells me that her manager told her to that because of the timer… –_​– Oh ok… that explains it, I was 2 seconds away from thinking that you’re a moron!
It would of been easier for me to convey my order to a deaf guy from Zimbabwe
with clicks in his speech than to this girl at the drive thru! YALIA was her name.
So after speaking for 10 minutes about wanting extra gravy on the side and not on the mash… and that we would like both mild and dark meet (combination of words faster than 0.1/MPH apparently confused the shit out of her) we were told to pull up…
She made us back up and pull forward 4 times to reset her timer… Got the order completely wrong… Items missing… Charged $ 9 for 3 extra gravy’s just because we didn’t want it directly on the mash but on the side… Just a total fuckin disaster and her explanation for all this was because her manager told her to do it that way and that next time we should come in cause she has cars waiting…
Totally destroyed our order… Got it all wrong… Items missing… Charged wrong amount… Holy shit balls someone poke me in the eye ball with a knife!!!
I SWEAR THAT I AM THE MOST COURTEOUS AND NICEST AND THE MOST PATIENT PERSON/CUSTOMER…AND IN NO WAY AM I TRYING TO BE PREJUDICE OR MAKE TROUBLE FOR THIS GIRL… But seriously management and employees must change. There was only one girl there that was nice and sane! NOT YALIA. The other girl was cool. YALIA was a total disaster!
If I could give a zero or negative 5 stars I would!
DONT FIRE THIS POOR GIRL… JUST SOMEONE TEACH HER SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! And some common sense!
