I graduated from this high school in ’01, and although I was not particularly fond of the experience I greatly appreciate the education I received.

I am a graduate of Vallejo Public Schools and received a decent education during a time when students respected — or feared — the teachers. That all seemed to change in the ‘80s and by the ‘90s, we decided — after eight years of public education — to send our kids to SP/​SV. In spite of it’s ‘our way or the highway’ mentality, they both received an excellent education and we never had to worry about their safety.
Two things we noticed about SP/​SV: (1) The parents are very involved and (2) If a student breaks a serious rule (drugs, stealing, weapons) they are expelled. That ‘tough love’ approach is something public schools lack and unfortunately it brings down the overall quality of education.

A crappy, close-​minded, hellhole.
If you ignore my warning and attend this school, be prepared for lots of power hungry idiot teachers that do not really know anything about the subject they teach. Be prepared for Christianity to be constantly shoved down your throat non stop. Enjoy the crappy masses during school when you sit on a bleacher bench for an hour while some guy in a gown rambles on and on and on…
