Nora’s Beauty Salon

After the young lady cut my last week, I was so happy with her I decided to get a highlight. It looks so great! The place was full of customers and they were raving how awesome she did my hair. Like again, for the price and trying to find a good hairstylist in Vallejo, this is the place to go.

I just had 15in. Cut off my hair and boy let me tell ya that was tragic for me but… they did an incredible job! I love my hair thank you so much

Quick hair trim, no hassling with extra services, excellent cut! I’m happy to recommend & come back to this salon.
Nora is polite, friendly, and plays great music to keep her clients entertained. I appreciate this place!

First time here. Adequate to good hair cut, good price, minimal wait… no complaints. Will be back.

PREFACE: This is my first experience here so my rating will be based on that and when I come the next time I will update as needed
Mrs was doing some shopping at island pacific next door so I decided to get a haircut. I was greeted immediately by one of the male barbers/​stylists (might be the only one). He sat me down immediately and asked what was type of cut I was looking for. I am pretty simple with a traditional faux hawk. Anyways the process went rather fast. A good 15 minutes. I only really needed to take an inch off the back and minor trim up top. Not a lot of conversing during the haircut. He can speak English fine but you can hear a strong accent (probably Vietnamese). I tried to start a conversation but nothing came of that. In his defense maybe he is just extremely focused. Remember this is my first time here so I can’t base a normal experience on one visit.
The haircut cost $ 11 which is a lot cheaper than most places I’ve been to so that was nice. I will definitely try again on my next haircut and re assess my rating when I have a better gauge of what a typical experience will feel like.

I want to start off by saying that this salon provides excellent service! This salon is located in a place where you could try a lot of Asian food, particularly Filipino food. All the ladies who work in the salon are very nice. There is water readily available to drink when your thirsty and the owner always turned the a/​c on whenever it gets very warm outside. It made me want to stay in the shop after getting my haircut since it was so relaxing and cool in there. The owners’ kids were nice as well. Very polite and approachable. Glad to see them helping with their mother’s business.
It’s sad to see people giving reviews that contain false accusations about Nora’s Beauty Salon. I have read another review for this salon stating that animals (dogs) living in the salon. It’s either this person might have mistaken Nora’s Beauty Salon for another salon or he is heavily under the influence with drugs. I have been getting my haircuts at Nora’s Beauty Salon for almost 3 years now and I can guarantee that I have never seen any animals that live in the salon.
I want to congratulate Nora and her colleagues for keeping up the good work. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to look good.

This is definitely not the place to get your eyebrows done. The lady that did my eyebrows nearly waxed everything! I had to wait a whole month to have someone fix it! I say go somewhere else to get your money’s worth!
