IV Barber Lounge

When my son started cutting his hair (age 9) we went to another barber shop, the barber was nice but the environment was not what I preferred. The place smelled like weed and we were exposed to N-​word this and N-​word that… needless to say we looked and finally found IV Barber lounge. Although all the guys are great, friend and helpful my son will only get his cut by A.J. A. J makes him feel comfortable, knows what he likes and always has a smile on his face. A. J also cuts my hair and I have had some amazing designs– he is truly creative and talented. My husband also gets his cuts by A. J but, when AJ is not available he will set my husband up with one of the other talented fellas. The vapes do suck, but it is rare they are vaping and it is better than smelling the weed.

Needing to find a barber now that we live on this side of the Bay, the Mrs came across this spot thru a Unilocal search. Needless to say, I think we’ve found our barber. Dann (with 2 N’s because there’s another Dan who works here) was our younger son’s barber the first time we came in, and have gone to him ever since. He’s real cool and knows exactly how to cut a 2^nd grader’s hair. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who has a fussy kid.

This place was recommended to me by a good friend of mine about a year ago. Needless to say, I have been a fan ever since then. Cool atmosphere, they play music, really laid back. Don (my barber) is AMAZING. He listens, does a great job, and is completely attentive. Thank you Don! I realize by throwing his name out there, now he will not have time to cut my hair! Haha!

Just went in there a few minutes ago and one the barbers asked me if I have an appointment I said no, he tried to help for a sec and he left. I waited for 5 – 10 mins then I left cause ain’t no one trying to help. Just didn’t feel it here.

We’ve been seeing Vo now for a while and he always does a great job. Posting updated pictures of my 7 year old who couldn’t stop smiling. He LOVED his haircut today.

I come and get cut here all the time. Ed, Drew and Jordan have cut me and I have no complaints. Love coming here for the atmosphere chill people good customer service. Recommend this shop for anyone who wants to get cut.

Walked in and got excellent and very professional service from Todd (Bo) he truly knows his cuts and styles. He didn’t hesitate to accept my proposal for they type of cut I wanted and he made me feel very confident while in his chair, he gets two hands down on being a great pro.

Review for Vo… Went in for a walk-​in cut and received excellent service from Vo. Upon sitting down, he was very friendly and thorough in making sure he understood what kind of cut I wanted. I really appreciated the fact that during the cut Vo would consult with me to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. This made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I was extremely pleased not only with my haircut but the overall service provided by Vo and definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a barber. I think i’ve found my new barber.

Don Has been my kids barber as well as my boyfriends barber. The skill he has is by far above and beyond what I ever expected. His attention to detail is amazing. He is always striving to be better in the skills he already possesses. My boys ONLY want haircuts from him and him alone. This is a great barber shop. The guys that work there are great barbers and very polite and friendly. Appointments are recounted because they do get crazy packed.

First time here today, pretty good place. Jorge clipped my hair which turned out really great, even my wife appreciated his work. Nice guy too.
Short of giving 5 stars, my only suggestion is do the vaping outside the shop. We all know it’s unhealthy.
Overall though, good experience for me.
Will come back and recommend to friends.

Review for Jorge (1^st chair on the left). I come in every week to get cut up by Jorge every time I’m in the area. He’s consistent and always willing to listen to me whenever I want my hair cut a specific way. He’s professional and overall a great barber.
Tip: set an appointment because these barbers can get booked with other clients

I highly recommend Jorge Calderon. I’ve brought my 6 year old son only a couple times to the shop and I’ve already decided that Jorge will be his barber for a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how well he took care of my son by taking his time and really paying attention to detail. I appreciated the way he was very careful with handling my son when he needed him to lean from side to side. I was mostly impressed with the way he used scissors at one point, rather than just a razor the whole time and his precision was very sharp. When he styled my son’s hair, it was more than what I had expected and it was absolutely perfect. Bottom line is, if you’re looking for someone to give you or your son a fresh and clean look then I highly recommend you make an appointment with Jorge, who is more than qualified with his diverse skills and impressive techniques.

1÷16÷2015 Jorge was not our barber today but he was nice enough to set us up with an appointment with AJ (free of charge). I was very pleased with my son’s haircut this time. Definitely recommend AJ & Jorge.

Came here on a friday to have my son faded up by Ed. Completely loved it! I was also looking at the work of the other barbers in the shop… clean! It seems to always be busy here so i would recommend scheduling an appointment. The staff is really friendly.
My only gripe is the vape store located inside the shop. I didnt like the fact my son was exposed to the vape smoke (I am a smoker myself, and I dont expose my son to smoke and definitely dont like it when others do). Thats the reAson I gave 4 stars. Otherwise it would’ve been 5.

Comfy, clean. Ive only had Jordan take care of me a cpl times. He takes care of my kid about once a month and never disappoints. Granted, its not an elaborate cut. But my kid sits still! Hes been getting cut by him for about a yr. now. Highly recommend him and the establishment in which he does business. On another note, fix the door!

Came in today without an appointment and Jordan Recinto was able to help me out right away. He did a great job and was able to cut my hair just how I wanted it. Highly recommend stopping by. Great atmosphere and good vibes all around!

The best place in the Bay to get a hair cut!
The barber you want to have is Rome. He is ALWAYS on point! I never have 1 longer hair sticking out after he cuts my hair. I NEVER have to double check his work.
And enjoy the music while you’re there. There’s always a good mix playing in the background!
