I am shocked by the other reviews. My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Coe. We both very much like him and respect him. He sits down in the room and speaks with you, at length, before even checking you. He is responsive to our needs and has always been professional. We never have to wait more than 10 ish minutes to get in and don’t have any problems making appointments.

Dr. Gregory Coe was my husband’s primary care physician for many years. I wish he wasn’t. I will make this as brief as possible.
— Husband was seeing Dr. Coe for a knee problem
— Dr. Coe prescribed many different medicines for the pain
— Dr. Coe started to prescribe medicines such as Dilaudid & Morphine
— Husbands tolerance levels went higher & higher
— Dr. Coe prescribed an astronomical amount of narcotics
— Husband has knee replacement
— I requested Dr. Coe reduced the amount of pain meds (on the phone & in person)
— Dr. Coe indicated to me that he can’t just take him off the meds, so I suggested to
start a decrease regimen, Dr. Coe stated, not at this time.
My husband had knee replacement and due to the amounts of pain medication in his system, he died 16 month later. When I filed for the insurance, I was denied because the insurance company stated, «Dr. Gregory Coe advised them that my husband was addicted to narcotics and was being treated for drug dependency.» Therefore the policy was denied.
So I ask, who is responsible for Dr. Gregory Coe’s actions? PLEASE… if you are seeing this man or someone you love is seeing this man…
THINK TWICE, as your life may depend on it!

California law mandates that doctors give full and unrestricted access to patients of their own medical records.
When I requested a copy of my own records and offered to pay for the copying, Dr. Coe refused to even allow me to look at my own records, much less copy them. When I tried to explain that California law grants this access as a right under the law, Dr. Coe still refused, became hostile, and walked out of the room.
Oddly combative. Lacks the compassion and supportive attitude one would hope to have from a family doctor.

I ALMOST didn’t go because of the above review… but I decided to give it a try. Office is nice and well designed, parking lot is available, staff is very friendly. Dr. Coe’s assistant was very friendly. He was FABULOUS! Very easy going and listened to everything I said, repeated what I said to ensure we were on the same page, and addressed every issue I had and asked if there was anything else. The office is extremely high tech and actually uses it. They will send you paperwork in advance do you can do it at home OR you can download it on their site! AND they electronically send your Rx to your chosen pharmacy so by the time you are done and head over to the pharmacy, it’s filled! AMAZING!!! Trust me, I am so amazed that I signed up on Unilocal just to make sure others knew that he is a great doctor. Just think, if a doctor and his office is willing to invest and keep up with technology, you can deduct that he invest even more in himself… and who benefits? His patients!

I don’t like him! I stop going to him and went to his nurse practitioner. He act like a schmuck. I have two problems with him. One, I have asthma and he had use this test that did not work. He know that it doesn’t work because of the specialist told me so. I guess he is so hard up for money. Two, at the end of my appointment I asked another quick question and he would not let me ask. He told me that I have to make an other appointment. He is on the radio too and acts like he cares, but all he has is dollar signs in his eyes.
