I had never thought of reviewing a company like this before, but here they are, so here I go… I try to support small local companies as much as possible(since I have my own small business in Sonora) so this was a great find for me! It looks like the other review on here complains about always having to talk to the person in a particular department, but I kind of like that; I don’t have to keep telling a new random person what the issue is because the person I’m talking to already knows the situation. I prefer to work with smaller companies where I’m a name not just a number, but then that’s just me… Anyway, I find Signal Service to be an honest and fair company to work with and would definitely recommend them to anyone. PS– Unilocal: Why does this poor business have all of it’s good reviews filtered out and only one bad review on file? I’ve noticed this on other business’ sites too, seems pretty unfair. Just an observation…

I have been paying Signal Service for over 13 years. My main control panel was fried by lightening according to service technician. I would be receiving a quote for a new circuit board via email soon. One month later and one paid bill for monitoring(which isn’t occurring) later and no email. In addition when I called I was told that«It’s hard for you to understand but we are continuing to monitor». I asked if people were driving by my house!!! I said I was not going to pay for another month of «monitoring» when my main circuit board was fried and they couldn’t monitor ANYTHING. I asked to cancel my «monitoring» and was told that they would email me today… And i still wait… poorest customer service ever and they treat you like you are an idiot. I know my home cannot be monitored when the main circuit board is fried. Please find another service provider than give someone who will treat you like an idiot when you call.

Signal Service is a very difficult company to work with. The sales people do not talk with the schedulers or the installers and the billing and account management and monitoring people don’t talk to anybody and routinely ignore contact information which has been provided to them. They have managed to totally disable our system while doing an «upgrade» and then leaving the system inoperative for over a week before they were able to schedule someone to repair their upgrade. Any complaints are answered by «that is not my job you will have to talk to X» and X is not available”
