White House Black Market

I’m a regular at this store. They are very expensive but I love their jeans. If you can you will find better deals online. My last visit was a little annoying because I had at least three people ask to help my shop on a 25 min visit. However they just earned my business in a big way! I was wearing my new jeans (replaced a previous work out pair of the sane style). The first time I wore the jeans the button popped off (not the best feeling for anyone). I then noticed the button was really loose and popped off easily. I was really worried they would give me a hard time since they’d been worn. I went in and explained what happened and showed them how the button comes off. Two saleswomen apologized for my experience. They got me a new pair, checked the button and sent me in my way. No drama, no hassle. Great experience. Redeemed my anger after the situation given the price of the jeans.

I have loved buying clothes at this store for the great design and excellent customer service, but I have noticed that their imported fabric is really of poor quality and no last ability even with fine washing. For the money, I do expect that the fabric would be a better quality and am disappointed. I may consider not shopping there anymore.

This is a review for the customer service: girls were down-​to-​Earth and very polite. I am not a fun of this store, but I got some elegant clothes for a present. It seems like the company began to sell more modern tops that complement body lines.

Picture this… stay at home mom whose wardrobe consists of sweats, jeans, and comfortable clothes. My mission was to find a nice outfit for my husband’s work party. I entered WHBM apprehensive I would find anything that would fit me well while staying within my budget. Eileen, Allison and a third salesperson (sorry didn’t catch her name!) made my challenge a reality!!! In a nutshell they are outstanding individuals who gave me the ultimate service I needed to get what I needed.
Let’s start with Eileen who listened to what I was looking for and starting pulling outfits for me to try. She was personable but gave me space to try on these clothes. Of course as luck would have it just as I was trying my first dress I get a frantic call from my hubby that my son had gotten ill and he needed me at home. Eileen was so understanding, agreed to hold all the clothes so that I could return later that evening or the following day.
Once things were quiet at home, I returned and Allison and other lady (sorry didn’t get name) helped set me up and they were just as enthused and engaged as I had received earlier that day. I felt like a modern day Cinderella who had found her dress for the ball!!! What impressed me even more was that the salespeople weren’t in a rush to push me out the door even though I was there after the shop had closed. In the end, I not only felt like I had made a great purchase, but I also felt like I had found my ‘go to’ place for future clothing purchases!

Top, top-​notch service, something which you just don’t seem to get in retail that often. The first time I visited I was doted upon by Sara, and although I didn’t have the budget to buy at the time (had just made a hefty Modcloth purchase), I kept the place in mind. Yesterday, I needed a suit. My grey Banana Republic suit, though well-​fitted, wasn’t giving me the oomph I needed to feel in an interview. So I found myself walking through the door of a store called «White House Black Market», hoping to find a fashion-​forward suit with color. Although Sara was super-​busy with other customers, Colleen spent a good chunk of my two hours there offering suggestions and helping me out. When we found that I had misquoted my size (I run a size or two below that at other places), Colleen dutifully grabbed as many items in my true size as could be found. I walked out with a gorgeous, fashion-​forward, fuchsia suit, an extra white casual suit jacket, and an adorable corset-​style camisole to wear underneath (during non-​interviews, of course). I feel so much more confident that I will be able to walk into my job interviews feeling like my full, professional, colorful self. A note: as stated above, my size here runs super small, so I suggest trying on one item before you have them pull a bunch of stuff that doesn’t fit.

I was so excited to learn that WHBM was comimg to Valencia. Most of my clothes are from this store. I have always had a great experience with their staff. They are helpful without being pushy. The store seems organized and well stocked.
